(outside cafe)
Anna (in her mind wearing her hat and coat): How embarrassing crying in a cafe. Maybe things have been too much for me to hold back my tears. The last time I cried was two years ago when they couldn't find Shoto body.
Keith (touches Anna's shoulder): Hey stop spacing out.
Anna (look at Keith): When did you get here?
Keith: I've been calling your name from the car but you didn't respond.
Anna: Sorry. (notice the car behind him) Wait. Isn't that my car? I thought it was destroyed.
Keith: Well it was pretty beaten up but the engine wasn't damaged.
Anna (touching the car): Can you please stop surprising me like this?
Keith (after seeing a teardrop): I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry.
Anna (wipes her tears): These are happy tears.
Keith: But what you said sounded like I did something wrong.
Anna (look at Keith with a gentle smile): Sorry for giving you the wrong idea. Thank you for repairing my car.
Keith (puts his hand on Anna's head): You're welcome. This time I'll be driving so you can just relax.
Anna: Okay.
(forest inside the car)
Keit (in his mind while driving): Anna's eyes look less buffy than I thought. She did well hiding that she cried with her hat on. I hope Anna feels better.
Anna (after opening her eyes): Are we there yet?
Keith: Not yet. You took a long nap. Didn't you sleep properly last night?
Anna: Not this time. I was asleep but woke up three hours before the alarm. I fell asleep after being awake for two hours.
Keith: You're clumsy when half awake.
Anna (shocked while looking at Keith): Who told you?!
Keith: Lilly of course.
Keith (leans back on her chair): That girl. Thanks to her you know more about me than I do about you.
Keith: Actually I asked her because you were still distant even though we're friends.
Anna (looking at the view from her side): But I still don't know much about you because I don't like to make people feel like they have to tell me everything.
Keith: Then I'll tell you things if they're important.
Anna: Thank you. (turns her head after seeing something at the corner of her eye): That's the bridge that will take us to the desert.
Keith: Want me to stop?
Anna: No continue driving. They'll be guards at the other side so leave it to me.
Keith: Okay.
(other side of the bridge entrance)
Soldier one (sees a car coming towards them): Hey doesn't that car look familiar?
Soldier two: It does. There's only one person who I know who owns that car. (walk forward while the car slows down) Excuse me! (walking to the side of the car) Lieutenant Anna, are you in there?
Soldier one (while the car door opens): What are you thinking you idiot!
Anna (wind blows after standing): I'm surprised you remember this car. (smiling) I hope you're not dying in this heat.
Soldier one (standing near Soldier two): Sorry but can I see your ID?
Anna (pass her ID card after appearing in her hand): Here.
Soldier one (passes Anna's card back after looking at it): Forgive me. I had to see if it was a fake but your appearance is different.
Anna (ID card disappears from her hand before sitting on the side of the car): Yeah a lot happened but I'm not your enemy.
Soldier two: Everyone heard about your base. I'm happy that someone survived.
Anna: I'm not the only one who survived. My partner is in the car.
Silder two (shock): You have a boyfriend!?
Soldier one (after slapping Soldier two back head): You're so stupid.
Soldier two (touch his head): That hurts.
Soidler one: Is Lieutenant Keith with you?
Anna: Yes but we're in a hurry. We're on an investigation to find out more about the shadow creatures so I must cut this conversation short.
Soldier one (and two salute while Anna stands): We understand. Please use the changing room to change your clothes.
Anna: Thank you (while going back in the car) Till we meet again.
(inside the car)
Keith (while Anna close the door): I could of come out when they said my name.
Anna (watch the soldier steps to the side): Then why didn't you come out?
Keith (looks at Anna): I stayed here because I could tell you wanted to end the conversation quickly. After all, you don't like unnecessary chats.
Anna: Talking to friends is much better than talking to strangers. So what are we going to do with the car?
Keith: I can just put the car in our shared magic storage so we don't have other people use it.
Anna (remember): Do you even have a licence?
Keith: I do. It was made during our absence.
Anna: I see.
(desert land changing room building)
Keith (walking out of the changing room): Anna you sure these are the clothes we ordered?
Keith wearing a jungle green ankle-length dress that has no sleeves with a split in the middle of the skirt, a black belt attached and black horizontal clips in the middle closing the top half to the lower collar. Black trousers, black middle-length gloves that hook around his middle finger, and black boots that have flat heels with jungle green underneath and jungle green laces in the middle having the top tie in a bow.
Anna (coming out of the girl's changing room while fixing her gloves): What you asked them to make wasn't going to suit you so I asked them to match my outfit.
Anna wearing a baby pink ankle-length dress that has no sleeves with a split in the middle of the bed, a black belt attached and black horizontal clips that reach below her collarbone. Black short leggings, black long gloves that hook around her middle finger and baby pink boots that have flat heels with black underneath and black lace in the middle that tie in a bow at the top.
