(four days later town ports)

Lieutenant (while walking off the ship): Thank you for helping us during the four days but I wish you could have left it to me and my squad.

Keith (following behind wearing his soldier outfit): I promise my partner to help other soldiers while I travel.

Lieutenant: Where is Lieutenant Anna?

When they stopped they suddenly heard a horse before looking towards the direction to see a horse carriage. Once the carriage stops the door opens seeing Anna walks out wearing her soldier outfit with her blindfold and cloak.

Lieutenant: Speak of the devil.

Anna: It's been a couple of years lieutenant.

Lieutenant (saluting): Nice seeing you too Lieutenant Anna. Have you been doing well?

Anna: I've been busy.

Keith: You two know each other?

Anna: When I was younger I met him a couple of times at the base I was saved at.

Lieutenant: I can never forget how we were all shocked watching a ten-year-old beat a soldier who's eleven years older than her.

Anna (rubs the back of her head smiling): I'm surprised you remember that.

Keith (after clearing his throat): Sorry for disturbing your conversation but we should be going.

Lieutenant: The captain already knows about your arrival.

Anna: Thank you for informing your captain for us.

Lieutenant: No problem. (saluting) I hope we meet again soon.

Anna (Keith walks towards her while she turns around): Goodbye.

(inside horse carriage)

Keith (sitting next to Anna): What's wrong Anna?

Anna: It's nothing.

Keith: You sure it's nothing. I can tell there's something on your mind after saying goodbye to the lieutenant.

Anna (after sighing): I just don't want to see anyone from my past.

Keith: Because you're no longer the same person they know?

Anna (leaning back on the chair): Correct.

Keith (look at Anna after remembering): Before I forget how did you get here?

Anna: Training ended earlier than Sabrina expected. So she told me to meet up with you.

Keith: But how? Remember I was on a ship.

Anna: I could have teleported to you from our contract but Sabrina said to ask Yurei to have one of his people arrive at this town ahead of you.

Keith: They allow you to teleport?

Anna (look at Keith): During training, Sabrina wanted to test out if the contract between us and Yurei had any effect after my reborn. Of course, you can also use this phantom teleportation ability.

Keith: Because of the contact?

Anna: Yes. From the contact my new level of magic transfers into you making your magic stronger.

Keith: I see.

(base hallway in front of a door)

Soldier (after knocking on the door having Anna and Keith behind): Sir they arrive.

Captain (from inside): Let them in.

(captain's office)

David (captain (at his desk watching Anna and Keith walk in once the door opens)): Welcome to my base Lieutenant Anna and Second Lieutenant Keith. My name is David the commander of this base.

Anna (and Keith standing near the desk without her cloak on): Nice to meet you, David. (notice) Is there something wrong?

David: I was told by Yoruichi that you said you'll be different once you return to the battlefield.

Anna: Two days ago I finished my training but my new powers haven't settled down yet so the blindfold is making it easier to suppress my power.

David: Did you get this new power to be helpful for once?

Keith: What do you mean by that?

David: From what I heard. When your base was getting attacked there was no sign of you so was you making this demon doing all your work?

Anna: Of course not.

Keith; There's a reason why Anna wasn't at the fight.

David: You sure this demon isn't backing you up because you ordered him to?

Anna (quietly while gripping her fist): I had enough!

David: What did you say, woman? (smiling) I told the general long ago that he shouldn't allow women to fight in the war because of how sensitive they are. You should turn in your license and leave it to the men.

Keith was about to say something but stopped after sensing Anna's aura before the desk suddenly moved to the side so fast it made David stand. However, when Anna took a step she suddenly disappeared to reappear right in front of David before grabbing his neck to push his body to hit the wall behind him.

Anna (while her blindfold disappears making cat ears appear at the same time revealing her open eyes): Listen here, Captain David. I had enough of hearing you talk bad about us women. Men also have their bad moments as well (while her eyes turn red) but you never overlook that because you don't see women (before her wings appear) as equals.

Keith (in his mind surprise): Did you teach her that?

Sabrina (in Keith's mind): I didn't however I've seen this once before.

Keith: You don't have to explain it. I can tell it's one of her hidden secrets.

David (grabs Anna's wrist): I see this is what your warning meant. You betray your humanity to become a demon.

Anna (in shock while her wings disappear at the same time letting go of David): Of course not.

David (after slamming Anna's head to the ground after grabbing her neck): I should just kill you right now.

Keith (holding a sheath katana handle while having dull eyes): If you're going to kill my master then I'll kill you.

Anna: Keith don't.
