Chapter 36

Keith (roll up the scroll before it disappears): Let's stick to this generation map.

Anna: Alright. (start walking) Let's get out of here and find a safe place to camp.

Keith (follow behind): That's fine with me.

After leaving the building a giant elf green symbol appears making many shadow hands appear but before they have a chance to touch them. Anna used her tornado to protect them while they flew out the open ceiling. Once they gained some distance Keith made a huge lightning beam appear from the sky destroying the base.

(in the tornado)

Anna (and Keith watch the base crumble): You sure that's okay?

Keith: I am. It should have been destroyed long ago.

Anna (in her mind notices Keith's faint dull eyes): He's serious. Those eyes show no regrets.

(sunset deep in the forest)

Anna (tornado disappears after landing): This should be far enough.

Keih (standing next to Anna): Sorry for the trouble.

Anna (stretching): It's alright. Thanks to that I was able to see how long I could hold the tornado while flying with someone.

Keith: Aren't you tired?

Anna (look at Keith): I'm not. (after thinking) Let's camp here.

Keith: In the open?

Anna (making a wind barrier appear after raising her arm towards to the sky): Don't worry leave everything to me. You just take it easy.

Keith: Okay.

Anna (starts walking away): I saw a lake close by so I'm going to see if there's any fish.

Keith: Then I'll get the camp ready.

Anna (turns a bit when she stops): What did I just say?

Keith: Alright.

Anna (start walking): I'll be back.

Keith (in his mind leaning on a tree after sitting down when Anna left): I'm surprised Anna was able to sense my bloodlust aura. (look at his katana after it appears) It doesn't matter if it's sheathed or not. On the battlefield, with one touch my instincts instantly change. Will I ever master that?

Ana (standing in front of Keith): So is that the source of your bloodlust?

Keith (speechless after looking at Anna): When did you get back?

Anna: Just now. (show four dead fish with a slime) This is our dinner for tonight.

Keith (notice a stack of sticks behind Anna): I didn't notice you returned.

Anna (throws a small fireball at the stack of sticks): That's because you were lost in your thoughts. (stab separate sticks through each fish) So what's with that power coming out of your katana?

Keith (while his katana disappears): It's my other side. (while Anna put the sticks near the fire) When I was training during my time I touched my very first real weapon but my instincts lost control and my mind went blank. Then when I woke up I was in my room. My teacher told me that any type of katana I touch would make me become a wild beast.

Anna (shock): Any katana?

Keith: That was in the past. When I unlocked my magic abilities I immediately made a katana to seal off that beast side. My skills may have weakened but thanks to the training I've gotten better.

Anna (sitting next to Keith): So you're more skilful with a katana than a lance?

Keith: Yeah but don't forget I can use other weapons.

Anna (uses her psychic to move two sticks to them): I know you'll master that side someday and then you'll become more powerful than me.

Keith (while Anna grabs the sticks): You might get stronger than me before that. (take one stick when Anna past him one) Thanks.

Anna (after they took a bite of the cooked fish): After eating you can take the first bath. I need to get things ready here.

Keith: This tastes good.

Anna: Didn't you hear me?

Keith (after swallowing his food): I did.

(night near the river)

Keith (stretching near the river): Anna cooks the fish real good. (in his mind) Why couldn't I kill Sosuke? Is my heart too weak to set a soul free? (notice while taking his coat off) Anna how far did you block off to keep us safe for the night?

(camp)

Anna (in her mind while sitting on her sleeping bag): It's weird. His bloodlust reacts to a weapon while my (touch her heart at the same time her eyes turn red) bloodlust reacts to my emotions.

Sabrina (in Anna's mind): You think way too much.

Anna (eyes normal): You're so quiet I forgot you were there.

Sabrina: How was it fighting in your new appearance?

Anna: I was able to hold my own but I'm curious about the second form.

Sabrina: Anna I told you not to bring it up. Remember what I told you. I said you're not ready. (see Anna lean forward when she grabs her throat) Anna?

Anna (walks away after standing): Excuse me.

(near waterfall river)

Keith (sitting on a log wearing black loose trousers while dying his hair having it out): I don't know what stings more. Having a wet bandage or feeling the wind against my injury. (in his mind) Anna must have used the antidote so my injuries could heal.

Anna (standing behind a nearby tree): There you are Keith.

Keith: Perfect timing. (while turning around a bit) I was just...

When Keith looked at Anna he noticed her eyes were glowing red sensing a change in her aura. Anna suddenly appears in front of Keith immediately biting his neck to drink his blood.

Keith (in his mind): I thought this wouldn't happen to Anna since she's not even a vampire.

Anna (stepped away after regaining her sense once her eyes were normal): I'm so sorry. I couldn't...

Keith (interrupting while standing): It's alright.

Sabrina (in their mind): I'm sorry. I should have noticed the signs.

Anna (mad): What signs?!
