Chapter 53

(Anna's mind)

Anna (in her mind after sitting up on a bed): That's weird. Why am I in a white space? Maybe it has a meaning like when I was in that water space area where I met Sabrina.

Once Anna got off the bed three floating portals appeared that had two portals showing Keith and Sabrina fighting the shadow monsters while the third portal was Yurei and his people surrounded the blood orb.

Anna (looking at the portals): Is this a dream?

Unknown voice (background): No. What you're seeing is happening in real-time.

Anna (after turning around): Who's there?

Unknown voice (after a red glowing floating orb appears): Forgive me I didn't mean to scare you. (while the orb glows brightly) It's been such a long time since I found an interesting person to talk to.

Anna (see a person once she removes her hand while opening her one eye after the glow disappears): What do you mean by that and who are you?

Vampire King (unknown voice): I'm the first Vampire King. However, I don't really reveal my true name.

Anna (in her mind): So this is what the Vampire King looks like. He almost looks like Sabrina.

Vampire King: The reason I find you interesting is that no human has ever decided to change into a half demon but now you wish to become a pure blood.

Anna: Well no humans could find evidence of changing into a demon but since you have knowledge of what's been happening to me. You must know why I'm here.

Vampire King: I do. However, I have to say Sabrina has supported you well in your half-state.

Anna: Has she seen you?

Vampire King: When she was doing the ritual I didn't reveal myself.

Anna: Why?

Vampire King: Even though she was stronger than the other descendants. I felt like she lacked a few things. I only reveal myself to people who have potential.

Anna: You sure a used-to-be human like me has potential?

Vampire King (up close): I do and my gut feeling never fails me. Plus that second form is rare for any noble vampire to obtain so I was very surprised.

Anna: So what now?

Vampire King (leans away): First I need to replace your human blood.

Anna: Why not both sides?

Vampire King: Because your human side is holding you back. Since Sabrina is half cat demon and half vampire because of her one-sided breed parents you mainly obtain the cat demon side while the vampire side strengthens your red eyes. However, with my help, you're basically going to be like Sabrina but yours will be more balanced.

Anna (turns around while the Vampire King walks past her): So I'll be stronger than Sabrina?

Vampire King (smiling while looking at Anna): Yes.

Anna (after taking a deep breath): I'm ready.

Vampire King: Forgive me. (see Anna in pain after his hand enters the middle of her chest) Try to endure the pain.

Anna (in her mind looking at the portals): This pain is nothing to what I felt on the battlefield.

Once the Vampire King reached Anna's soul spirit within her heart his eyes glowed before Anna's eyes glowed making her feel a huge amount of power entering her body. Soon in real time, Anna's eyes open with a glow making the orb glow bright.

(throne room)

Keith (and Sabrina cover their eyes from the glowing orb while the shadow creatures back away): Sabrina what's going on?

Sabrina (while the glow dims): The ritual is complete. Yurei get away!

Once Yurei and his people disappear the swelling blood tornado went back into the blood pool at the same time the blood orb shrinks covering Anna's body.

Anna (tone of voice different while using her demon wings to float at the same time the blood slowly disappears from her body): Freeze.

Yurei (in Keith's mind while the square floor closed): All the shadow monsters froze.

Keith (in his mind): It seems like her commandment skill got stronger.

Anna (slowly floating down after suddenly burning all the shadow creatures beside one): Make sure to inform your king to never mess with my territory.

Shadow creature (scared): Of course. I'll make sure to inform my lord.

Keith (shock): She let that one shadow creature live just to send a message.

Sabrina (in Keith's mind while their weapon disappears): Keith?

Keith (in Sabrina's mind while they walk to the throne): I know.

Anna (sitting on the throne after landing with her wings disappear): Are you two alright? I hope I didn't scare you.

Sabrina (and Keith bow on one knee near the throne): Of course not. It's nice to see the ritual was successful my Queen.

Anna: Please raise your head.

Once Sabrina and Keith looked up they noticed Anna's hair grow to mid-thigh length while sensing a strong demon aura and saw her eyes normal after the glow disappeared.

Keith (in his mind): I'm surprised nothing much changed.

Anna (voice normal at the same time coming back to her senses): Um. Sabrina, I just noticed. Why are you bowing?

Sabrina: Because all former rulers always bow to the new King or Queen. Also, this palace belongs to you now.

Anna: I have a message from the first Vampire King.

Sabrina: What could that be?

Anna: To continue guiding this newborn Vampire Queen so she can still continue on the right path.

Sabrina: If that's what the first king ordered then I'll accept this role. (in her mind) I'm surprised Anna got the chance to see him. The first Vampire King must see something that I missed. (look at Keith when he stood up) Keith...
