Chapter 33

Anna: The name Yurei means ghost so I thought it would be the perfect name since you're a phantom. Plus a leader needs a name in human conversations.

Yurei (leader of the phantoms): Then I'll accept this name, Lady Anna. (after a big symbol appears underneath them) Once you appear in the human world your eyes will have an effect that will allow you to see us.

Sabrina (smiling): See you soon my friend.

Anna (while the symbol glows): Be careful my friends.

Yurei (after Anna's team disappears): Until next time Lady Anna. (look at the other phantoms after turning around) You know what to do so scatter.

Every phantom (before they all disappear): Sir.

(sunset human realm desert underground base room)

Anna (after appearing from the symbol): We're back. (look at Keith) What's wrong with you?

Keith (standing next to Anna): Nothing. I'm surprised everything went so smoothly.

Anna (look at Keith): I'm surprised you didn't stop me.

Keith (look at Anna): Because I knew you was going to do something ridiculous but I need to work on predicting your movements in these situations.

Anna: Don't you trust me?

Keith: I do trust you but there may be times when I have to stop you before you go with your plan. (notice) By the way, where's Sabrina?

Anna (starts walking to the books): She's back in my soul. In the human world, Sabrina can only take spirit form but maybe in other realms, she might be able to take physical form.

Keith (walking towards a different bookshelf): That's kinda weird but anything possible.

Anna (looking closely at the books): True. (open a book after taking one out) These books are in bad condition.

Keith (takes a book out from a box): This book isn't.

Anna (while putting the book away): You sure?

Keith (walking to Anna): I am. It looks like it hasn't been in here for long.

Anna (takes the book when Keith passes it to her after she turns around): Maybe someone found this place before us.

Keith (Anna's expression changed after looking through a couple of pages): Found something?

Anna: This is what we're looking for. (after closing the book) I didn't read everything but this book has information about the past to the recent present.

Keith: Then that should help us out a bit while we find more information.

Anna (while the book disappears): Then let's read this book together once we find a town nearby.

Keith: Okay.

Sosuke (from a distance when Anna and Keith started walking): Where do you think you're going, Keith?

When Anna and Keith turn around a slime whip passes Keith to hit Anna's stomach sending her flying to hit a wall knocking her out from the impact. Keith turned around about to run to check on her but more slime whips appeared wrapping around his wrist and ankles before being pulled into a shadow portal.

Anna (in pain after opening her eyes while sitting on the floor leaning on the wall): Ow. (rubs the back of her head) My head going to hurt for a while.

Yurei (while appearing): You alright Lady Anna?

Anna (while standing): Where's Keith?

Yurei: Sosuke took Lord Keith to the shadow realm and all the portals have disappeared.

Anna: He doesn't want anyone to interfere with their battle. (at the same time hitting the wall) Dam it.

Sabrina (in Anna and Yurei's mind): Yurei are you able to teach Anna how to enter the shadow realm with her own magic?

Yurei: It might be possible.

Anna (starts walking up the stairs): Let me grab our belongings in the dune buggy before you teach me. I have to help Keith.

Yurei: Understood Lady Anna.

Anna (in her mind while walking): It's my turn to find a way to help you, Keith.

Sabrina (in Anna's mind): Don't worry Keith won't be killed.

Anna: But I have a bad feeling like their duel won't go so well.

(shadow realm forest near trees)

Sosuke (see Keith open his eyes while he lay on the floor): Finally decided to wake up?

Keith (sitting up): What did you want from me? (standing) I thought you gave up on killing me?

Sosuke: I had things to do. However, your instincts have become dull. You should have been able to sense me but you failed to protect that human.

Keith (in his mind): That's because I rarely need to use my instincts. I rely on it less because of Anna but it seems like I can't be at my best without it.

Sosuke: What are you thinking? All the portals in the human realm have been closed so no one can interfere.

Keith (smiling): That''s perfect.

Sosuke (confuse): How is that perfect?

Keith (light aura appears while he pulls his hairband out): Did you forget that there's one weapon I can't use?

Sosuke (in his mind): A weapon he can't use? (expression change after noticing) Wait is he talking about that weapon?

Keith (while tying his hair): Good you do remember. (at the same time the aura glow started to slowly disappear) Thanks to what you did Anna won't be able to see this side of me.

After finishing tying his hair in a high ponytail the glow disappears revealing his changed outfit. He's wearing a jungle green turtle neck shirt with no sleeves, a black ankle-length coat that has long loose sleeves, a hood, jungle green belt that attaches to the hip and the top half is closed by a hidden zip that reaches his collar bone. Black gloves that don't cover fingers, black trousers, and black boots that have short heels with hidden clips on one side and jungle green underneath.

Sosuke (while a symbol appears underneath Keith at the same time a small slime orb appears on his hand): I'll make sure to end you before you have the chance to return to that human.

Keith (while a sheath katana appears from the symbol): Well we have to wait and see who will be victorious. (grab the floating katana) Will it be you or I who will die today? This battle with decide the outcome.
