Chapter 35

Anna used a bit of her wind to give herself a bit more strength to knock Sosuke away before she started running towards the group of phantoms while her sword disappeared. However, she quickly turns around using her hand to guide a giant rock to throw it at Sosuke before continuing running but Sosuke destroys the rock by unleashing a slash having his blade covered in shadow aura. While in mid-air Sosuke made one slime spike appear but when he threw it the spike turned into ten after reaching halfway.

(inside the phantom barrier)

Yurei (watch Keith standing up): Lord Keith you should stay sitting.

Keith (in his mind while walking): Anna must have the teleport ready.

When Anna was about to reach the barrier Keith held out his arm so once Anna grabbed his hand he immediately pulled her into the barrier. However one of the spikes hit her left ankle before Anna's symbol appeared making her, Keith and Yurei disappear.

(distance)

Sosuke (in his mind while his sword disappear): Was that Keith's hand I saw? (while turning around) I'm surprised he's still able to move but how long will he live with those injuries?

(human realm morning rock mountain inside a hidden base)

Anna (sitting up after appearing): Thanks for the save.

Keith (in pain while lying on his back): No problem.

Anna (in her mind while looking at Keith's injury): His shoulders aren't that bad but I need to stop the bleeding.

Yurei (near Anna): Lady Anna are you able to remove the snake effect?

Sabrina (in everyone's mind): Keith said he can't access his magic.

Anna (moving to the side to get off Keith): I may have a way to treat that but (a bottle appears in her hand) I need him to drink this.

Sabrina (Sakura touch her left leg while in pain): What about your leg?

Anna (going to Keith's face by walking on her knees): I can treat it once Keith is stable.

After sitting next to Keith's head Anna opened the bottle lid and lift his head before pouring a bit of antidote. There was no sign of Keith swallowing the drink because it dripped to the side of his mouth so Anna took a bit and forced him to swallow the antidote.

Anna (after wiping her lips when she put Keith's head down): Never mention this.

Yurei and Sabrina (in Anna mind): Our lips are sealed.

Yurei (while Anna closes the bottle before it disappears): So what's in that bottle?

Anna (puts her glowing hands on Keith's chest): It's an antidote we humans made to remove the shadow poison. (glowing symbol appears underneath) If it was still in his systems then I wouldn't be able to stop the bleeding (while removing her hands) and Keith's injury wouldn't be able to close on its own.

Yuri (while a glow appears on Anna body): How interesting. Humans found a way to cure the shadow creature hidden effect.

Anna (while the glow slowly disappear having her eyes normal): I could have given him the injection but we don't have many.

Anna wears a black short shirt with no sleeves, a baby pink ankle-length coat that has a hood with black inside, long loose sleeves, a black belt connected to the hip and the top half is closed by a hidden zip that reaches the collar bone. Black middle-length leggings, black middle-length gloves that don't cover her fingers and black boots that have short heels with baby pink underneath and hidden clips on one side.

Sabrina (while Anna takes her left boot off): When did you learn how to multitask?

Anna (inject antidote in her back ankle): I used to help treat many injured people during missions.

Yurei: So will Lord Keith be fine?

Anna (bandaging her ankle): Yeah. My symbol keeping him stable. As I said it's stopping the bleeding and removing any other injuries that aren't serious.

Sabrina (while Anna put her boot back on): Are you still able to walk?

Anna (moves her left ankle a bit): Doesn't hurt that much so I should be fine for now.

After Anna put her boot on she began treating Keith's injury by bandaging his stomach first before covering his shoulders once she took off his coat and shirt. When Anna was done the symbol disappeared so Anna put Keith's coat on him being used as a blanket.

Anna (have two fox fire float near Keith): That should keep him warm.

Sabrina (while Keith's ripped shirt disappears in Anna's hand): Where did his shirt go?

Anna: Don't worry it's being repaired in the storage. (after turning her head) However, I wonder where we are.

Keith (while sitting up): We're inside one of our bases during the war against the humans. This is the first place where the shadow creatures appear.

Anna (after turning her head): What are you doing awake when I just treated you?

Keith: I won't be able to do much in my condition. (standing) Walking around should be fine.

Anna (standing after sighing): Don't push yourself. (pick Keith's coat up) If you want we can leave. I can tell this place brings back some bad memories and (past Keith coat) I can see that there's a side you kept hidden.

Keith (take his coat): Was it my bloodlust?

Anna (fox fire disappears while Keith puts his coat on): Yes. However, it's faint.

Keith: I'll explain it to you later. Right now let's see what we can find and get out of here.

AnnaL Okay. (look at Yurei) You can leave.

Yurei: I'll be back with more information. Until our next meeting Lady Anna.

Anna (after Yurei disappear): So why don't you want to leave?

Keith (while zipping his coat to his chest): I want to see if there's anything left that can help us now.

Sabrina (in their mind): That building near the dent on the wall has something.

Anna (and Keith start walking): Did you look around without telling me?

Sabrina: I did. While you were treating Keith I saw a faint demon aura coming from that building but it was empty.

Anna: Maybe Keith's comrades hide something.

(inside the building)

They looked around the room but found nothing until Keith noticed a bit of paper near stacks of bricks. After pushing the bricks away he found a map that had very detailed information about each land.

Anna (standing near Keith): So that's what a map used to look like. It seems we're in the rock mountain.
