Chapter 45 {final chapter}

Keith (see that he has elf-green eyes with black sclera and sharp pupils after making square ice appear): What's this?

Sosuke (in Keith's mind): These eyes can strengthen your abilities like Anna's demon eye does.

Anna: Keith?

Keith (while standing): These eyes were a gift from Sosuke. (hold his hand out) Let's help Sabrina.

Anna (while taking Keith's hand): Yeah.

(outside the phantom barrier)

Every attack they made their attack clash but once they landed away after breaking the block. Sabrina eyes glow a bit to use her psychic to throw three trees at the Shadow King but shadow spikes appear creating a wall blocking the attack.

Shadow King (while the shadow spikes disappear): I'm surprised your skills haven't gotten rusty for a dead person.

Sabrina (holding a rapier that has a red blade with a white handle): You haven't changed either.

Suddenly a wind tornado fell from the sky that fused with lightning but the Shadow King made a shadow orb barrier appear blocking the attack.

Sabrina (after turning a bit): What are you doing here?

Keith (and Anna standing near a tree): To help you.

Sabrina (in her mind after noticing): Did Sosuke's spirit give Keith a new ability?

Shadow King (in the dust): Don't look away from your opponent.

A huge shadow ball was released but before anyone reacted Anna flew in the air to summon a sword to cut the orb in half by unleashing a vertical slash once her aura covered the blade. However, after landing when her wings disappeared Anna fell to one knee feeling weak.

Sabrina (going on one knee to touch Anna's shoulders): Don't push yourself. (whispering) You may be strong but you're still sick. (look at Keith) Get Anna out of here.

Shadow King: You're running away? (while shadow spread on the ground) Raise my army. Don't let the intruders escape!

Different shadow monsters appear from the ground but lightning strikes down from the sky killing half of the Shadow King forces. Sabrina made a fire dragon appear and instantly releasing a fire roar killing the remaining monsters before creating a fire wall.

Keith (carrying Anna in his arms after picking her up): We should leave now.

Sabrina (looks at Keith while her weapon and fire dragon disappear): Right.

Keith's symbol appeared underneath them but when the shadow spikes were about to hit them from the sky they teleported just in time to dodge the unexpected attack.

Shadow King (after using the shadow hole to absorb the firewall): They got away. (in his mind while walking away after turning around) Can't wait to see how long you'll live the next time we battle.

(human realm snow mountain)

Keith (after appearing with normal eyes): We made it. (in his mind after looking at sleeping Anna) Did Anna pass out?

Sabrina (in Keith's mind): No. Right before teleporting, she passed out because of her fever.

Keith (touching Anna's cheek after noticing they were red): She is a bit warm.

Yurei (while appearing): There's a human base nearby.

Keith (at the same time putting a cloak on Anna): Is it abandoned?

Yurei: According to my scouts they see living people wearing a uniform.

Keith (look at Yurei): You found a military base.

Sabrina: Finally we actually found people to get some help.

Keith (while his cloak appears): But what about Anna's appearance?

Sabrina (at the same time Keith moves Anna to carry her on his back): Don't worry. Once you reach the base Anna will be in her normal form. I'll transfer my magic to make her fire aura keep her warm.

Keith (puts his hood on after putting Anna's hood on): Thanks that will help. (look at Yurei) Lead the way.

Yurei: Yes milord.

Keith (in his mind while following Yurei when he started moving): Shadow King (at the same time activating his shadow eyes) we will return and get our revenge for our friends who you and your people killed.
