Chapter 66

(inside the arena)

Anna (while the smoke clears up): Wow you both broke my sword. Looks like I need to remake them.

Renji (and everyone else's surprise): What's this power?

Makoto: It's stronger than before.

Anna (while everyone sees her in her royal form with two red strip marks on her cheek and wrist): That's because I wanted you all to see my true strength.

(outside barrier)

Keith (shock): Those marks.

Yukimaru (while Anna lands): Do you know what those marks are?

Keith: Those are demon marks. They appear to show you reach your potential.

Yoruichi (while Anna's katana appears): Will those marks stay on?

Keith: No. They appear during battle but for Anna, they appear when she's in her royal form.

(inside barrier)

Makoto disappeared once again but Anna soon disappeared before Renji suddenly heard clashing sounds around the area. However, when they appeared once their weapon clashed a strong wind was released that reached out of the barrier.

Renji (from a distance while Anna and Makoto hold the block): Makoto move!

Anna lifted her katana to the side making Makoto lose his footing before using her free hand to punch his stomach sending him a few distance away. After landing he fell to one knee but when looking to his side he saw Renji holding his hand up while Anna was standing in front having the tip of her katana near Renji's neck.

Renji (notice Anna's eyes): What happens to your eyes?

Anna (using spiritual eyes): This is my new ability. They allow me to see a few moments into the future. Like for example you were going to use gravity force to stop me from moving to allow Makoto to win the duel.

Makoto (charging forward): I can't accept this!

Anna's weapon disappeared before turning around to grab Makoto's head and slam it to the ground but she suddenly got a static memory. However, the sound got so loud Anna stood up to step away before suddenly passing out.

Keith (going on one knee after catching Anna): Got you.

Makoto (after sitting up): How did you get in here while the barrier was still up?

Keith: Sorry but I can't tell you.

Renji (and Makoto's weapon disappear): Anna is crazy strong but what just happened to her?

Keith (while Anna opens her eyes): I have no clue. (look at Anna) Are you alright?

Anna (sitting up while returning to normal form having normal eyes): Yeah.

Keith (hold his hand out after standing): Let's get you to a room so you can rest.

Anna (barrier disappears while taking Keith's hand): What about the meeting?

Yukimaru (walking while David and Yoruichi follow behind): We can leave it for a different day.

Yoruichi (puts Anna's coat on her shoulder): I'll take Anna to her room. (look at Keith) I can tell you have unfinished business.

Keith (look at Yoruichi): Thank you.

David (standing near Yoruichi): I'll come with you two for some company.

Yoruichi: Alright.

Anna (look at Keith): Then I'll see you later.

Keith: I'll be by once I'm done.

Yukimaru (looking at Renji and Makoto): I need to talk to you both at my office.

Renji and Makoto: We're in trouble.

Yukimaru (look at Keith): You can come with us if you want.

Keith (look at Yukimaru): I'll be happy to.

(hallway)

Yoruichi (while walking): That other form of yours was so beautiful.

Anna: I don't like to use it for this type of situation.

David: Is your head alright?

Anna (smiling): Yeah. (in her mind) Those fuzzy memories I just got. Are they linked to my future sight?

Sabrina (in Anna's mind): Maybe those fuzzy memories won't reveal themselves because you're not close to that event.

(Yukimaru office)

Yukimaru (sitting at his desk): What are you thinking?! You know how important my brother is to me.

Renji (and Makoto standing in front of the desk): But it was the only way to let Anna's guard down.

Yukimaru: It seems like you still don't understand. Anna may look like a demon but her mind hasn't changed.

Makoto: What do you mean? She acted like she was the boss.

Keith (while sitting on a sofa behind them): To show where she stands. During that battle, Anna had no intention to hurt you but to show her strength.

Makoto: General don't blame Renji because it was my plan. Yes, it was cruel of me to do that but I can't accept what she did.

Yukimari: Just like me and Anna you also know how stubborn Shoto is like.

Keith: Anna continues fighting and never quiets. She doesn't want people to sacrifice their self to help her.

Makoto (look at Keith): You don't even know Shoto.

Keith: But from what Anna told me. (standing) I know he was a good man who had the same heart as Anna. (look at Makoto) Please give her another chance.

Makoto (after sighing): I'll think about it.

David (after opening the door): Keith I need you to come with me. Something wrong with Anna.

(hallway)

Keith (while running with David): What happened with Anna?

David: We were having a normal conversation before she suddenly started acting weird before she kicked us out.

Keith (in his mind): I knew this would happen.

(in front of Anna's room)

David (and Keith slowed down when they were about to reach Yoruichi): Heard anything?
