Journey of the Last Demon and the Female Lieutenant

Chapter 1

(military laboratory)

Professor Boss (sees a girl walking in while holding a tablet): What took you so long, Lieutenant?

Anna (Girl (standing next to the professor looking at a giant ice cube)): I was finishing my work. My job is more important than being here. So why did you call me?

Anna has baby pink hip-length hair and a black ribbon blindfold. She's wearing a white button-up shirt with middle-length sleeves, a folded collar, a black tie, and a black skirt. A black ankle-length coat that has long loose sleeves with two baby pink strips at the end, a baby pink outline on the pocket, baby pink inside, a baby pink belt, and baby pink clip buttons in the middle that close the top half that reaches below the collar. Black gloves that don't cover fingers, black short leggings, and black boots that have short heels, baby pink underneath, and baby pink lace in the middle that's tied in a bow on the top. On her back hip are two horizontal opposite swords that have a white blade, baby pink katana handles with black inside, and a black sheath.

Professor Boss (shows his tablet): While doing research we caught this.

Anna (looking at the tablet): A sign of life. (in her mind) How is someone still alive in there?

Professor Boss (walking away): I still don't get a person with a blindfold is still able to see.

Anna (walking off after turning around): Just let me know if anything changes.

Professor (notice a glow from inside of the giant ice): Hey boss the ice is suddenly glowing.

Anna (in her mind sensing magic after turning around when she stops): That's no normal glow. (jump at the professor Boss) Everyone get down!

After Anna and the professor hit the ground the giant ice broke once the glow glowed brighter. The shattered ice flew everywhere destroying the boss tablet however when everyone looked they saw a person floating above the ground covered in a glow but once it disappeared the person fell to the ground.

Professor Two (coming out from being under a table): Is the person dead?

Anna (sitting up): No. He's alive.

Professor Boss (look at Anna after she stands): How do you know?

Anna (looks at professor): My magic sense showed me. (walking to the boy) Call the medics.

Professor Boss: Fine.

Anna (in her mind): I knew when I first saw the giant ice that there was someone in there. (going on one knee after standing near the boy) But why were there two different auras?

The boy has ombre classic length hair that's black on the top while the bottom has jungle green but is in a ponytail having jungle green eyes, short claw nails, and pointy ears. Jungle green hanfu dress that has long sleeves, black inside, split in the middle of the skirt, and black rope on the hip. Black middle-length gloves that hook around his middle finger, black trousers, and black plimsols.

Anna (in her mind): What a strange hair colour.

Professor Boss (notice the boy's ears): No way. That boy is a demon. (smiling) I can't wait to do some experiments.

Anna (pointing one of her swords at the professor): Not this time. Once he gets a check-up on his health the captain will decide what to do with him.

Professor Boss (arm raised a bit): Okay I hear you. Can you please put your sword away lieutenate?

Anna (in her mind while putting her sword away): People here are so weird.

(boy memory forest near the waterfall)

Boy (out of breath): Sosuke do you know what those things are?

Sosuke (looking at the path behind them): I have no clue. They just appeared from the shadows. I'm surprised we were able to escape.

Boy: We should get back.

Sosuke: Are you crazy? Not that long ago we were in a fight with these weird things.

Boy: But what about our fellow brothers? (mad) Those weird things could have entered our home.

Sosuke (touches the boy's shoulder after he turns around): Hey man. I'm sorry.

Boy (when he turned around): Sorry about...

Sosuke (after hitting the boy's stomach): For this. (whispering in the boy's ear after catching him) For both of us, you must live.

(next day medical room)

Boy (after opening his eyes being on a bed having his hair undone and tendertrode on his chest): Where am I?

Anna (after opening the door): You're awake.

Boy (look at Anna after sitting up): Human where am I?

Anna (after closing the door): You're in a military base belonging to humans in your words.

Boy: Then tell me are there any demons still alive?

Anna: What I've been taught is demons have been long gone before humans here were alive.

Boy (in his mind being shocked): The war ended.

Anna (in her mind): That giant ice must have put him to sleep for a very long time. He must be very old since he's in the generation where humans and demons were at war. Can you tell me your name?

Keith (boy): My name is Keith. Can I ask for your name?

Anna (waited after opening her mouth a bit): My name doesn't matter.

Keith: Then what can I call you?

Anna: Just call me Lieutenant.

Keith: Well Leutinate. (lift the tendertrode wire a bit) What are these things?

Anna: They're called tendertrode. I ask the medics at this base to check your health.

Captain (after a screen appears in front of Anna): You busy?

Anna (while Keith removes the tendertrode): I'm not. Our guest is awake.

Captain: Then let our guests have something to eat before bringing them here.

Anna: Okay.

Keith (Anna's screen disappears while sitting on the edge closing the top half of the dress): Who was that?

Anna: He's the boss of this base. (look at Keith) Are you hungry?

Keith: You sure that you should let a demon like me walk around without having someone watching me?

Anna: As long as you are around me no one will question me since everyone besides a few people is a rank below me.

Keith (standing): Can you lend me a hairband before we go?
