And true to his words, when he was finally done with her, she fainted. Literally.
The last thing Layla remembered as she drift off to sleep was his teasing voice, as usual teasing her.
When she finally came around, is was almost 4 am, she found herself protectively wrapped in his arms.
Having the glow of the moon shining brightly inside the room from the window which is adjacent to the bed, made Layla to actually see his feature.
She took few minutes admiring the handsome peaceful face of the man whom has become her entire world.
Layla's hand softly trail around his feature, the full brows, his black trimmed full beard, which hide the true nature of his age, making him appear way younger than he is.
Just like she get questioned about being Rauda's Mother same with him and whenever that happened, he doesn't hide his irritation one bit.
Layla dragged a handful of his beard playfully which made him to flinched opening his sleepy eye and set it briefly on her before he close it while adjusting her further to his body, this time around hiding her beneath him.
Layla groan softly, not that she doesn't enjoy him holding her protectively like this, but she need to wake up otherwise, they will miss the time for their Nafil
She pushed him gently then did her best to wiggled herself out of his impossible hold and literally ran to the toilet then made sure she lock the door with key knowing he will be right behind and that will be another thing entirely.
Since she wasn't wearing any clothe, Layla stood in front of the full length mirror as she use her hand to gather her messy hair in one place, then pick an elastic band from the counter and hold her hair with.
Her eyes got settled on her stomach as she tilt her head slowly thinking, wondering while her hand slowly goes to her lower belly.
Will a child truly grow inside her without any problem? Or with her body and mind reject it like the last time? More importantly, what if her mind failed her again? What if she slips back to that blank pit with nothing but the darkness in it.
If this happens again, she doesn't think she can handle it. She doesn't want her daughter and husband to witness that side of her, even though Jawad has witness way worst, still what he witness before was enough. She can't let that happen now.
Taking a deep breath, Layla gave her stomach one last glance before she stepped into the shower.
She had her bath then performed ablution before she came out and offered her nafila, during her Sujud, she took her time and poured her heart to her Rabb, asked for forgiveness and also to ease their affairs and choose the very best for them. Just when she said her Salam, that's when she saw Jawad getting up and heading to the toilet too.
She continued with Azkar and Zikr, when she was done, she proceeded to the kitchen a bit hungry.
Admiring the new interior of the kitchen as she stood by the island to wait for the burger which she found inside the fridge then tost into the microwave to let it warm, she couldn't help it as some deep buried memories came crawling in.
