She hurriedly opened the door of her room and worriedly went beside her. "Orm what happened?"
Orm tilted her head towards the woman who sat beside her and hissed. "My head hurts."
Lingling tapped her back gently to calm her. "Let's go downstairs for you to have breakfast and take the pain killer."
With her support, the younger woman, slowly got up from the bed and made their way downstairs. As they entered the dining area, Mr. Kwong and Mrs. Kwong greeted her with warm smiles, while the two women wore a teasing smiles on their faces. Orm felt her cheeks flush as she saw the familiar faces gathered around the table. She quickly bowed down, momentarily forgetting about her headache.
Lingling, guided her to a seat, ensuring she was comfortable. The atmosphere is full of concern and light-hearted teasing as she settled in, ready to ease her headache with some breakfast.
"Try this, Orm. It's good, I cooked this." Mrs. Kwong offered, serving her a plate of food. She didn't ask further about the girl's mood but instead tried to uplift her spirits by presenting her with delicious dishes, which Orm gratefully accepted.
"It's been a while since you came to visit us. How was school?" Mr. Kwong asked with a warm smile.
"I'm doing well, uncle. Our exams are approaching." She responded, savoring her food slowly.
Orm used to visit the Kwong's mansion everyday when she was younger, together with her cousin, Ying. They shared a close bond with them. Mr. and Mrs. Kwong treats them as their own children. However, as she grew older and became engrossed in college life, her visits became less frequent. Despite her busy college life leading to fewer visits, their strong connection remained. Whenever they visit, they were welcomed warmly as if they were permanent residents of the mansion.
"Good luck. And what's your plan after you graduate?" Mr. Kwong continued the conversation.
She smiled, taking a sip of water before responding. "I don't have a concrete plan, uncle. Maybe I'll think about it after exams."
Freen interjected with a cough and a smirk. "Mom, Dad, Nong Orm and Phi Lingling look good together, don't they? I hope they develop feelings for each other."
Both mentioned girls turned to look at her, Orm's face blush with embarrassment, while Lingling widened her eyes in surprise at her sister's comment.
"Orm is still young She has all the time to meet people in the future,
while Lingling is at the marriageable age, similar to Faye. Moreover, Lingling is already in a relationship, correct? What's his name?" Mr. Kwong stated, wiping his lips with a napkin."Win, Dad. Win Metawin." Faye replied casually, her attention still focused on her plate.
"Win Metawin? Isn't that your business partner?" He questioned.
Lingling glanced at Orm from the corner of her eye before avoiding her dad's gaze. "No, I don't have a boyfriend."
The blonde girl remained silent, just listening to the conversation.
"I would lend my support to Lingling and Orm if they decided to pursue a relationship." Mrs. Kwong expressed, her eyes reflecting support.
"No, we don't have a relationship. She's like our baby sister, right?" Lingling clarified, looking at both her sisters. But, she only received a roll of eyes from Freen and no response from Faye.
Orm stayed silent, the words pierced her heart. She fought back tears, managing to hold them at bay, though Freen noticed and looked at her with sympathy.
Mr. Kwong then took his wife's hand before turning back to his middle child. "Honey, did you hear that? I think Lingling wants a baby sister. Should we make one?" He joked, misunderstanding Lingling's words and thinking she desired a sibling, not realizing the true sentiment behind her comment.
"Darling, do you believe I am still capable of having another child?" Mrs. Kwong asked her husband, making him laughed. "Of course, if you can't then we will make a way."
The elderly couple continued their conversation, but Lingling and Orm were no longer paying attention to their discussion. Orm, still struggling with her headache, now felt a pang of heartache.
After the morning breakfast, Orm quickly gathered her things, her heart heavy with unshed tears that threatened to overflow. Lingling entered the room, noticing the younger woman's preparations to leave. "You going home?"
Orm nodded slightly, avoiding eye contact with her.
"Do you want me to send you home?" The older woman offered.
"No need."
"Okay." Lingling accepted her response, though a lingering tension hung in the air. Orm couldn't help but smile bitterly at her casual acceptance.
"I'll go now." She stated, ready to make her exit without further ado.
"Join me at the condo later on." Lingling's request halted her before she could leave.
Facing Lingling with a stoic expression, she deflected. "I can't. I have to study tonight." fabricating an excuse to avoid further emotional entanglements.
"I thought you were done studying?" Lingling pressed, hoping for her company. "And do you still have periods?"
The taller woman looks away. "N-no, not yet I still have a few pages to read and Ah.. y-yes I'm still on my period." She lied.
Suddenly the younger woman let out a loud gasp when she felt her private part was being cupped. Lingling smirked after confirming that she had done with her week. "I'm certain you have completed it."
"So.. can you set aside some time for me tonight? I'll come get you at 10 pm." She added flirtatiously.
Orm chuckled bitterly. "I don't want to do this anymore."
"What do you mean?"
"This. Fucking each other. I don't want you to do this to me anymore." Her words cut through the tension.
"What? Why do you want to stop this? Didn't we agree to keep doing this?" Lingling's tone turned serious, seeking clarity.
"I can't do this anymore, Ling. If you want someone to fuck, why don't you do it with Win? You simply view me as your younger sister, don't you? How can you engage in this thing with the girl you see as sisters?"
Lingling's expression remained impassive. "Why do you want to end this? Is it because of the girl you met at the bar? Did she touch you? Tell me!"
"She's not like you! She never takes advantage of me. Do you think I'm a slut that anyone can have?" Orm's voice wavered with emotion.
"Really? Then why did you start going to the bar and you're always with her?" Lingling retaliated, probing into the younger's actions.
"Because she's my friend. And what's wrong with me going to a bar? I'm old enough to do so." Orm defended her actions.
"Did I give you permission to go? You never asked for my permission." Lingling's control began to slip, revealing her possessiveness.
"Who are you for me to do that? You expect me to ask for permission when I go anywhere, but I can't do the same to you?"
A tense silence enveloped the room as the two women engaged in a verbal sparring match, each word cutting deeper than the last.
"If you don't have anything else to say, I'll go now." Orm moved to leave, but Lingling grabbed her hand, preventing her from opening the door. She pinned the taller woman against the wall, her aggression is palpable. "You'll go with me to my condo, whether you agree or not. Remember, you consented to this. You are someone I will lay on the bed. I'll fuck you whenever and wherever I want, and you have no right to refuse." She then forcefully kissed the younger one asserting her dominance.
Orm found herself overwhelmed by Lingling's control, torn between her own desires and the suffocating grip of their tumultuous relationship. Was it weakness that kept her compliant, or was it a love too deep to resist? The answer remained elusive as the two women grappled with their tangled emotions. "Stop this, I wanna go home."
"I'll stop, if you let me drive you home." She then pressed back her lips again to the younger one. This time it's smooth and gentle but deep.
