Saving the Spade Toothed Whales

One day, the ninja were on the beach, the waves crashing in the distance  They had set the blanket on the sandy floor, and were now unpacking food.

Well, most of them. Mia was too busy collecting shells and stuff. She was searching the water when she caught sight of something sparkly. Curious, she inched forward, to find an abalone shell! Squealing, she tossed it into her bag she had brought.

Then, she caught a glimpse of something else. It looked like.... Struggling?

She ran to the ninja, and put her bag down.

" Where are you going?" Kai asked.

Mia froze and cleared her throat. " Uh.... I just wanna see something. I'll be back."

Without waiting for a response, she ran to the bridge and dived in. She swam the breast stroke to the mortal in need.

As she approached, she saw something breathtaking, something few people have seen. Guess. It's a whale, black and white, and no, it's not an orca.

.... Are you serious?!

...Fine. It was a  Spade Toothed Whale!

Mia gasped as she swam closer. It's fin was stuck in a net. As she approached, the whale let out a loud moan, trying to scare Mia off.

" Shhh, you're okay," She whispered, putting her hand on its nose. " You're okay."

Then, she took a deep breath and dove under the water, searching for the net. Unfortunately, she ran out of breath, so she had to come up, gasp for some, and dive back down.

They happened a few times until Mia had just enough. She held her hand up, and her snorkeling mask came to her hands. She put it on, and dived back down. She pulled the net,, tried to slide it under the tail, and even attempted to rip it. Nothing worked.
]Mia sighed. She mustered ever last bit of her strength, and using her legs and hands, managed to break the net.

Unfortunately, now she was drained of all energy, and she didn't have the heart to even swim back to shore.

Suddenly, she heard clicks, and another second she was riding the whale.

" This is awesome!" She said, smiling.

The whale clicked happily, but Mia could see blood in the water. A sinking feeling went to Mia's stomach as she looked at the whale's tail.

Blood.

Mia gasped.

" Oh, no." She whispered.

As soon as she reached the shore, she yelled, " KAI! JAY! ANYONE?!"

The ninja turned and ran to her.

" What happened?" Kai asked.

" There's a Spade toothed whale that's injured.

Kai blinked at her. " Uh, Kid. I think you're seeing things."

Mia stepped to the side, and everyone gasped.

" No, Kai. she's not imagining things." Jay said, in awe. Nya, too shocked to say anything, just took a picture.

" Enough! This whale is bleeding! Zane, analyze. Kai, bandage the poor thing up. Jay, feed it. Lloyd will help you. Nya, you keep it cool."

" And me?" Cole asked.
" You're gonna sing to it."

" Haha." Cole said, sarcastically. But when he saw Mia's face, he frowned. " Wait, you're serious?"

Mia nodded.

" What about you?" Jay asked.

" I'm gonna make sure there are no others."
