As Nya bolted from the room, her mind raced with questions. What was in those photographs? What significance did the wooden figures hold? And, most importantly, what had driven Mia to such desperation and anger? Nya knew she had to uncover the truth, but first, she needed help. Mia's outburst was beyond anything she had ever seen before, and the power of the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu was clearly corrupting her friend.
Nya hurried to the living room, her thoughts focused on who could assist her. She needed someone who understood the power of the Forbidden Spinjitzu and could help reach Mia. Lloyd and the other ninja would be perfect, but they were away on a mission. Her options were limited.
Then, she remembered Master Wu. His wisdom and experience with Spinjitzu and the Forbidden Spinjitzu could be crucial. Without wasting any more time, she grabbed her phone and called him.
"Master Wu, it's Nya. We have a serious problem with Mia. She has the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, and it's making her act dangerously. Can you come quickly?" Nya's voice was filled with urgency.
"Nya, stay calm. I'm on my way. Do not confront Mia again until I arrive," Master Wu replied, his voice steady and reassuring.
Nya paced the hallway, anxiously waiting for Master Wu. Every minute felt like an eternity. Finally, she heard the front door open, and Master Wu stepped inside, his expression serious.
"Nya, show me to Mia's room," he instructed.
Nya led Master Wu to the hallway outside Mia's room, her heart pounding with worry. "She's inside, Master Wu. I think the scroll has taken control of her."
Master Wu nodded, his face stern. "Stay back, Nya. Let me handle this."
He approached Mia's door and knocked gently. "Mia, it's Master Wu. I need to speak with you."
There was a tense silence, and then the door creaked open slightly. Mia's face appeared, her eyes filled with a mixture of fear and defiance. "Master Wu, I don't need your help. Leave me alone."
"Mia, I understand you're struggling, but this power you're wielding is dangerous. Let me help you," Master Wu said calmly.
Mia's grip on the scroll tightened. "No! You don't understand! This is the only way I can protect them!"
"Protect who, Mia?" Master Wu asked softly, his eyes full of compassion.
" Me! This is the only way I can protect myself! I wish I wasn't living in this cursed Monestary." As soon as those words left her mouth, she got an idea. With a satisfied smile, she smashed the door shut.
" That was interesting." Nya said, watching from a distance.
Wu adjusted his hat.
" Yes. It was. We should let her calm down, then try again."
Nya nodded, her mind still racing with the chaotic events that had just unfolded. She trusted Master Wu's judgment but couldn't shake the uneasy feeling in her chest. What had Mia meant about protecting herself? And why did she suddenly mention the monastery being cursed?
Master Wu placed a comforting hand on Nya's shoulder. "We will give Mia some space for now. However, we must remain vigilant. The Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu can corrupt even the strongest of wills."
Nya sighed, trying to push aside her worry. "I understand, Master Wu. But I can't just sit around and do nothing. There has to be something we can do to help her."
Master Wu nodded thoughtfully. "Indeed. Let us gather the others and formulate a plan. Mia is our friend, and we must do everything in our power to bring her back from the brink."
