Also, I'm gonna write that wedding story soon.

Just after I publish another one in the line.
😁

Mia cartwheeled and hid in the long line of people as two people walked by. She sighed and took her hat off as she made a beeline for the Relocation agency. She backflipped up to a chandelier, and used her wind to fly her to a door.

Agent Walker.

Yep. No doubt this was the one.

She tapped her earpiece. " Lloyd, I'm here."

" Good. Open the door and observe him."

Mia nodded. " Hey, where are you, anyway?"

" Stuck in a battle. Apparently, they think we're criminals."

Mia sighed. " Listen. Use your energy, combined with Nya's water. That should work for now."

Lloyd nodded, and she could hear the sound of Nya's powers clashing with Lloyd's.

" We're coming. You go ahead and figure out the deal."

Mia nodded. " Wojira out."

Lloyd groaned. " Next time, I come up with the names."

Mia snickered. " Come on, Eat your Veggies. It's not that bad."

She could hear more snickers, presumably Kai's.

" Oh, and tell Fatty to hurry up and stop showing his fire everywhere."

" Hey!" Kai whispered. " I'm not fat!"

" I know. That's why I gave you that name."

Mia carefully maneuvered through the Relocation Agency's sleek lobby, taking care to avoid the attention of passing employees. Her eyes were focused on the door marked "Agent Walker," and she silently wished for the perfect moment to slip inside.

Using her wind powers, Mia gently nudged the door open and slipped in. The room was spacious, lined with bookshelves and a large desk cluttered with papers. A figure was seated behind the desk, engrossed in paperwork. It was Agent Walker.

Mia's heart skipped a beat. She'd never seen him before, but this had to be him—her long-lost brother with memory loss. She approached cautiously, trying to keep her presence unnoticed. From her vantage point, she could see that Agent Walker had an intense look of concentration on his face, oblivious to Mia's quiet entrance.

She tapped her earpiece again. " Lloyd, I'm in. I see him. What's the status on your end?"

" Still in the thick of it," Lloyd replied through static. " The enemies are relentless. Nya and I are holding them off, but it's chaotic. Any updates on Walker?"

Mia squinted as she observed Walker. He seemed to be in a world of his own, the only indication of his distress being the furrow of his brow. " It's definitely him. Looks like he's deep in thought about something important."

Lloyd's voice crackled. " That's good. Try to get his attention, but don't blow your cover. We're almost done here."

Mia nodded, even though Lloyd couldn't see her. She took a deep breath, gathering her courage. Just as she was about to make her move, she heard Lloyd's and Nya's voices in the background, mixed with the sounds of clashing elements.

" Can you tell Fatty to control his flames? I almost got burned!" Mia said into her earpiece, trying to lighten the mood despite the tense situation.

Kai's voice cut through the static, slightly annoyed. " I heard that, Mia! I'm doing my best here."
