" Okay, this is just plain silly." Lloyd commented as he looked down at his flowy gown.

" Yeah, this is ridiculous." Cole piped up as he adjusted the flower in his hair.

Mia finished pinning Lloyd's veil on. " Yes, yes. This is gonna be amazing!" Mia gushed.

Then , from behind Mia, Rumi stumbled with her dress.

" Mia, is this all necessary? I mean, can't we wear nice dresses and stuff?"

Jay scoffed. " That's like asking her to stop being herself."

Mia ignored. " Haha, very funny."

Then, she turned. "Come on, Rumi, it’s just for fun!" Mia said, trying to cheer up her friend.

Lloyd adjusted his gown, grinning. "Yeah, and it’s not every day we get to see each other in these get-ups."

Cole added, “Plus, it’s a good way to lighten the mood. We’ve all been through a lot lately.”

Rumi sighed but couldn’t help but smile. “Alright, alright. But I’m still not sure how this will turn out.”

Mia laughed, “Just wait and see! It’s going to be fantastic.”

The doorbell rang, and Mia hurried to answer it. She opened the door to reveal a team of caterers and party staff, wheeling in trays of food and party favors. The aroma of delicious treats filled the room, adding to the already festive atmosphere.

Mia turned to her friends with a grin. “Alright, folks, food is here! What do you want—small chocolates or a creepy drawing of a face?”

Without missing a beat, everyone chorused, “Chocolate!”

“Good choice,” Mia said, nodding approvingly. She turned to Lloyd, who was nervously adjusting his gown. “Oh, and Lloyd, you should see your dad. He looks so cute!”

The group’s attention was quickly drawn to the entrance where Garmadon, Lloyd’s father, entered. He was clad in an elaborate, flowy gown, complete with a large, pastel-colored binki—a baby’s pacifier—hanging around his neck. Garmadon strutted in with an exaggerated, almost theatrical swagger.

“I want to tan myself,” Garmadon declared with a flourish, clearly enjoying the spotlight. He then proceeded to strike various poses, showing off the gown’s intricate design and the binki.

Lloyd’s face turned crimson. “Dad. Please. Change.”

Garmadon turned to his son with a playful grin. “Come on, Lloyd! The event isn’t for another week! What’s the harm in having a little fun now?”

Mia, glancing at the clock on the wall, interjected. “Actually, it’s in three hours.”

Lloyd and Rumi’s eyes widened in shock. “WHAT?!”

Garmadon’s playful demeanor faltered slightly. “Three hours? Oh, well, that’s soon. But I’m enjoying this! Why rush?”

Lloyd looked around at the gathered guests, his frustration evident. “Dad, this isn’t a joke. We need to get ready properly.”

Garmadon sighed but nodded reluctantly. “Alright, alright. I’ll change. But don’t think this is the end of my fun!”

As Garmadon shuffled off to change, Mia and her friends began organizing the party favors and arranging the chocolates on the table. The atmosphere was a mix of excitement and mild chaos, with everyone chipping in to make sure the event was a success.

As the party preparations continued, Mia and Blackie were busy setting up the final touches. Mia hung streamers and positioned balloons, while Blackie, comfortably nestled in Mia’s baby carrier, offered his sassy commentary.

“Hey, Rumi,” Blackie called out, his tone dripping with mischief. “Don’t use Lloyd as a pillow. He’s not a cushion, you know!”

Rumi rolled her eyes, trying to hold back a laugh. “Got it, Blackie. I’ll keep that in mind.”

Blackie continued, “And remember to treat him like a baby. I’m sure he likes being pampered.”

Mia, overhearing the exchange, chuckled and adjusted Blackie’s carrier. “There you go, you spoiled baby. Enjoy your little ride.”

Rumi raised an eyebrow, smirking at the sight. “He sure is spoiled.”

Blackie puffed up with pride. “Of course I am! My owner is lovely.”

Mia shook her head with a grin, placing the last of the decorations. The room was now filled with vibrant colors, and the table was set with an array of chocolates and party favors. It was beautiful.

Then, Garmadon re entered the wedding, in a more formal attire.

If you call wearing a country shirt formal.

But, then again, Lloyd didn't mind.

He was just happy he was dressed.

Soon, the time of the wedding arrived. Garmadon stood at the front, his eyes misty with emotion. His usual dark attire had been swapped for a rustic, plaid shirt and denim trousers, but it only seemed to add to the heartfelt sincerity of the occasion. Misako stood beside him, her eyes also glistening as she looked around at the gathered crowd.

“I can't believe this day has come,” Misako whispered, squeezing Garmadon's hand. “They both look so happy.”

Garmadon nodded, his voice thick with emotion. “I know, Misako. It’s a beautiful day.”

As the ceremony began, Rumi made her way to the aisle. Without the support of family or friends, she walked alone, but there was a grace to her steps. Her gown flowed behind her like a river of silk, each movement showcasing her resilience and quiet strength.

Lloyd stood at the altar, his eyes fixed on Rumi as she approached. The ceremony was about to begin, and the anticipation was palpable. As Rumi neared, Lloyd’s eyes softened, and he couldn’t help but smile.

Mia stood off to the side, her camera ready to capture every moment. She glanced at Blackie, who was perched on her shoulder, his usual sassy demeanor replaced with a more serious, almost reverent air. “Look at them, Blackie,” she murmured. “It’s so perfect.”

“Yeah,” Blackie replied, his tone unusually mellow. “It’s really something.”

Rumi reached the altar and turned to face Lloyd, her expression a mix of nerves and joy. The officiant began the ceremony, speaking of love and commitment, and both Lloyd and Rumi listened intently.

Garmadon cleared his throat and wiped a tear from his eye. “I didn’t think I’d get so emotional,” he admitted to Misako. “It’s just… watching Lloyd grow up and now seeing him so happy…”

Misako patted his back. “It’s a beautiful thing. They’ve found something special in each other.”

As the vows were exchanged, Lloyd took Rumi’s hands in his, his voice steady but filled with warmth. “Rumi, from the moment we met, I knew there was something extraordinary about you. I promise to love you, cherish you, and stand by your side through all of life’s adventures.”

Rumi’s eyes glistened as she responded, her voice steady despite the emotions swirling within her. “Lloyd, you’ve been my rock, my confidant, and my greatest friend. I promise to support you, love you, and build our future together, no matter what comes our way.”

The officiant ( Master Wu) smiled and turned to the guests. “By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may huh the bride.”

Lloyd opened his arms, and Rumi jumped into them. The guests erupted in applause, their cheers echoing throughout the venue.

As they walked down the aisle together, hand in hand, Garmadon and Misako beamed with pride. Mia captured the moment with her camera, the photos reflecting the joy and love that filled the room.

Mia, watching from the sidelines, felt a swell of happiness. She was glad to have been part of such a special day, and as she glanced at Blackie, she couldn’t help but smile. “Here’s to a lifetime of love and laughter,” she said softly, raising her glass.
