" Woah, it's beautiful!" Jake exclaimed, looking out the window.

Rose nodded. " Yeah. It's beautiful."

Mia grinned as she took a sharp left. " Told you Yosemite was a beautiful place!"

Nelson gulped as he looked outside. " But there's snow."

" only a little bit!"

Rose took out the map and read it out loud. " ' Here at Yosemite, we offer a variety of animals, such as Sierra Nevada Red Fox, Black bear, deer, and chipmunks."'

Mia nodded as she kept her eyes on the road. " Good to know."

" Did you know it's spring?"

Mia raised a brow. " Thank you, Rose, for the information."

Jake studied the map. " Oh! In 1.4 miles, if you turn right, we can see a waterfall."

Blackie, who was driving with Mia, raised his ears. " Oh?"

Jake nodded. " yeah! It's really beautiful!"

" Thank you, Jake. We will go that now." She said, taking a sharp left, then easing onto the road.

Nelson yelped, then looked out. " Wow, it's... beautiful."

The group marveled at the scenery as they drove through Yosemite, the vast expanse of nature surrounding them. Snow-capped peaks towered in the distance, and the crisp, cool air hinted at the lingering chill of winter, despite the arrival of spring.

Jake pressed his face against the window, his eyes wide with wonder. "I've never seen anything like this before! The trees are so tall, and the mountains... they're just incredible."

Rose smiled, her gaze fixed on the serene landscape. "It's like something out of a painting. You can't help but feel small in a place like this."

Mia glanced at Nelson in the rearview mirror, catching his wide-eyed expression. "Don't worry about the snow. It's just a sprinkle here and there, nothing to worry about."

Nelson nodded, though he still seemed a bit uneasy. "Yeah, but it's still cold out there. We didn't really pack for snow, did we?"

Rose unfolded the map, tracing their route with her finger. "According to this, we should be approaching a viewing spot for one of the waterfalls soon. It's supposed to be one of the highlights of the park."

Mia kept her hands steady on the wheel as they navigated the winding road. "Perfect. We'll stop there and take a look."

Jake, excited, pointed to a sign up ahead. "There it is! Turn right, and we should see it!"

Mia smoothly turned onto the narrower road, which led them deeper into the forest. As they drove, the sound of rushing water grew louder, until finally, they rounded a bend and came face to face with the majestic waterfall.

"Wow," Nelson whispered, his earlier anxiety forgotten as he stared at the cascade of water tumbling down the cliffside.

Mia pulled the car into a small parking area and turned off the engine. "Alright, everyone, let's get out and stretch our legs."

As they all stepped out of the car, the cool air hit them, and the mist from the waterfall lightly sprayed their faces. The waterfall was even more impressive up close, with the sunlight catching the water droplets and creating a faint rainbow at its base.

Blackie, sitting on the dashboard, twitched his ears in interest. "Not bad, I suppose. But it's no cozy blanket back home."

Mia chuckled, scooping up Blackie and setting him on the ground. "You'll survive, furball. Besides, this view is worth a little chill."
