This is my sis and friend too.

Idk why I'm letting them but okay 🤷🤷A few days after the commissioner's visit, another knock echoed through the cottage. This time, it was the familiar sound of the ninja. Jay and Mia exchanged glances, the tension palpable. They had been trying to move forward, but the past still lingered heavily in the air.

Mia was at the door when Jay, with a sense of dread, made his way toward his room to hide. The ninja stood there, their faces a mix of guilt and apprehension. Nya, looking particularly remorseful, was at the forefront. Behind her were Kai, Cole, Zane, and Lloyd, each of them bearing an expression of regret.

"Mia," Nya began, her voice tinged with unease, "we came to apologize. We should have believed you and Jay. We let our judgment be clouded, and for that, we are truly sorry."

Mia's eyes narrowed as she took in the sight of the group. "Apologize?" she echoed, her voice icy. "Do you think a simple apology will make up for what you've done?"

Kai stepped forward, his expression serious. "We're here to make amends. We know we were wrong, and we want you and Jay to come back to the team. We miss you."

Mia's anger flared, her fists clenching at her sides. "You think you can just come here and ask us to come back like nothing happened? Family is supposed to back you up, not turn against you! You—" She pointed a shaking finger at Nya. "You smashed my brother's medallion! Do you know what that meant to him? And now you think you can just waltz in and ask us to forgive you?"

Nya looked down, her shoulders slumping. "I didn't mean to—"

"Didn't mean to?" Mia cut her off, her voice rising. "The damage is done! You made our lives a living nightmare. We were thrown out of Ninjago, our reputations ruined. And now, you show up, expecting us to forget all that and come back? No way!"

The rest of the ninja stood silently, watching as Mia's frustration poured out. Lloyd shifted uncomfortably, glancing at his teammates, but said nothing. Cole's expression was one of deep regret, and Zane's face was stern, though he seemed at a loss for words.

Jay, from his hidden spot behind the door to his room, could hear the shouting. He kept his presence concealed, not wanting to add to the tension. He could feel Mia's pain and anger radiating through the walls, and he understood why she was reacting this way.

Mia continued her tirade, her voice growing hoarse from the intensity of her emotions. "You want to come back into our lives? Then prove it! But right now, I want you all to get out of my life. You made things worse, and I don't want to see any of you again!"

The ninja looked at each other, clearly overwhelmed by Mia's outburst. They hadn't expected such a vehement response and were at a loss for how to handle it.

"Please, Mia," Nya said softly, her voice trembling. "We just want to make things right. We want to help—"

"No!" Mia yelled, cutting her off. "Leave us alone. You've done enough. Just go!"

With heavy hearts and bowed heads, the ninja slowly turned and walked away from the cottage. They left in silence, the door closing firmly behind them.

Once they were gone, Jay emerged from his hiding place, his face pale. He approached Mia, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?" he asked quietly.

Mia's shoulders were shaking slightly, but her eyes were fierce. "No, Jay, I'm not okay. But I'm not going to let them walk all over us again."

The following day, as Jay and Mia tried to return to some semblance of normalcy in their secluded cottage, the tranquility was abruptly shattered by the sound of police sirens. Jay, who had been trying to focus on organizing their meager belongings, looked up in alarm as the vehicles pulled up outside their home.
