😂😂 did you see the top? I found it randomly.

Anyway, story time.

Mia wasn't the same since Jay and the others returned from the Never Realm.

One day, Wu told everyone he would be going out to get groceries.

" I will come along, Master Wu. To make sure nothing happens." She said, eyeing Jay.

Jay, who was busy eating, didn't realize. But Mia shrugged it off. She had more important things to do.

" Hey, guys? Have you seen Mia?" Jay asked, walking through the monestary training ground.

Kai grunted, momentarily stopping his assault on the bag. "Nope. Haven't seen her since breakfast."

"She left with Wu for groceries this morning," Zane chimed in, his voice calm and collected as ever. "But that was hours ago. They should have been back by now, shouldn't they?"

A flicker of unease crossed Jay's face. Normally, Mia would be right there with them, practicing her own fighting skills or simply hanging out. Her absence felt heavy, especially considering her recent behavior. "Yeah, you're right," he said, his voice tight. "Something doesn't feel right."

Cole, who had been engrossed in tinkering with a new invention, finally looked up. "Maybe they just got waylaid? Wu can be easily distracted by a good sale at the market, and Mia might have gotten caught up browsing too."

Jay wasn't convinced. "Maybe," he conceded, but his brow remained furrowed. "But with everything that's happened lately... I can't shake this feeling."

Kai, sensing Jay's worry, lowered his fists. "Alright, let's not jump to conclusions. We should probably check with Wu first, see if he knows anything."

The unease settled in the room like a fog. Mia's recent withdrawal, coupled with her unusual insistence on accompanying Wu, gnawed at their minds.  A silent agreement passed between them. They needed to find Mia, and fast.

Finally, Jay spotted Mia walking alongside Master Wu, both entering the monastery courtyard. Mia, however, wasn't wearing her usual bright smile. In fact, she looked like a storm cloud was brewing over her head.  She clutched an ice cream cone in one hand, the melting vanilla dripping down her fingers.

"There you are!" Jay exclaimed, rushing towards them. "We were just about to send out a search party."

Mia shot him  a withering glance. "Don't be so dramatic, Jay. We just got sidetracked."  She took a large bite of her ice cream, the sugary coldness failing to mask the scowl etched on her face.

Jay noticed the tension and his own frustration bubbled up. "Sidetracked? By ice cream? Mia, we were worried sick!"

Mia rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. Spare me the theatrics. I can handle myself and Master Wu."  She pointed the ice cream cone accusingly at Jay. "And besides, you wouldn't have cared if I was gone  anyway!"

Taken aback by her accusation, Jay sputtered. "What?  Where'd that come from?"

Wu, ever the mediator, stepped in before the situation could escalate further. "Now, now, now. There's no need for accusations. Mia simply purchased a well-deserved treat with her own allowance money, and we encountered a longer line at the market than anticipated."

Mia, however, wasn't finished. She glared at Jay, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Right. Because apparently, getting ice cream takes hours these days. Especially when you have to force the old man to buy it for you."

Wu choked on a cough, his face turning a faint shade of pink. Jay, on the other hand, felt a surge of anger. Here he was, worried sick about her, and she was accusing him of not caring?

"Force you?" Jay countered, his voice tight. "Is that what you think? I don't care if you eat ice cream every day, Mia! But disappearing like that without a word, especially after everything that's happened…"

He trailed off, the weight of their recent ordeal hanging heavy in the air.  Mia's outburst only confirmed his growing suspicion that something was very wrong with his sister.

Before Jay could finish his thought, Mia whipped around and stormed off, tears welling up in her eyes. "I hate you!" she yelled back, her voice choked with emotion.  She ran towards her room, slamming the door shut behind her, leaving Jay and Wu standing in the courtyard, the echoes of her words hanging heavy in the air.

Wu placed a hand on Jay's shoulder, his expression a mix of concern and understanding. "Give her some space, Jay. There's more to this than just ice cream."

Jay stared after Mia's retreating form, a knot of worry tightening in his stomach.  He knew Wu was right.  But what was going on with Mia?  And how could he help her if she wouldn't let him in?

Luckily, he knew just the girl to go to.

"... And then she yelled that she hated me. After that, I haven't seen her." Jay finished.

Nya looked up from bandaging Jay's wound on his leg.

" That's harsh." She commented.

" So, what should I do?"

Nya sighed, rubbing her temples. " I honestly don't know, Jay. Ever since that trip, Mia's not been coming to me at all."

Then, her eyes widened. " What if she's trying to avoid us?"

Jay jolted up from his seat, the forgotten pain in his leg a dull throb compared to the sudden spike of fear. "Avoid us? What do you mean?"

Nya leaned forward, her voice serious. "Think about it, Jay. Mia wasn't exactly thrilled when she found out we left for the Never-Realm against Wu's orders. She felt scared, helpless, and probably a little betrayed that we put ourselves in danger without her."

"But that was weeks ago! We explained everything," Jay argued, his voice defensive.

"Did we really, though?" Nya countered, her gaze gentle but firm. "We apologized, sure, but did we truly listen to how she felt about everything? Did we give her the space she needed to process it all?"

Jay fell silent, the weight of Nya's words settling on him like a heavy stone. He hadn't considered Mia's perspective. He'd been so focused on his own guilt and fear that he'd failed to see how his actions might have affected his sister.

"So, what do we do now?" Jay asked, a hint of desperation creeping into his voice.  He just wanted to fix things with Mia.

"We start by reaching out," Nya said, a determined glint in her eyes. "Not with apologies or justifications, but with empathy. We show her we understand her feelings and that we're there for her, no matter what."

Jay took a deep breath, a flicker of hope rekindled in his chest. "You're right. I messed up. But maybe, just maybe, it's not too late to fix things with my sister."
