Jay paced back and forth in the small, dimly lit cell. His mind raced as he tried to think of a way to help Mia. The tension in the room was palpable, with Kai, Cole, Lloyd, and Zane all looking equally troubled.
"Wait, WHAT?!" Jay cried out, staring at Skylar, who stood with her hands wringing nervously.
Skylar nodded, her face pale. "Yeah. Mia's so angry she's pulling trees out of the earth and... well... destroying buildings and terrorizing people."
Kai's eyes widened as he processed the information. "I'm sorry, what?"
Nya, who had joined them in the cell after receiving the distressing text, nodded solemnly. "We tried to reason with her. She thinks it's the town's fault you're all in here."
Cole, who had been silently fuming over their predicament, coughed suddenly, choking on his own spit. "That's... intense," he managed to say, his voice rough.
Skylar ran a hand through her hair, looking distraught. "Yeah. And even Master Wu's at a loss for how to manage the situation."
Nya's phone buzzed with a new text message. She checked it and her eyes widened in horror.
Jay noticed her reaction immediately. "What? What happened?"
Nya sighed heavily, showing him the message on her screen. "Mia is throwing trees at... the Police Station!" she said, her voice trembling with concern.
Lloyd, who had been sitting quietly, jumped up and pushed Jay aside to read the message. "What?!" he yelled, his eyes scanning the text in disbelief.
Zane moved next to Lloyd, peering at the message with a look of alarm. "That is bad, is it not?"
Jay's mind clicked into action. "Tell Mia to come here," he said urgently.
Skylar shook her head. "She can't, remember? The court won't let her."
Jay, determined, insisted, "She'll figure out a way. Just bring her here so I can talk to her. Maybe I can calm her down."
Kai nodded in agreement. "It's true. Jay can calm her down in an eyeblink."
The others looked at Jay, hope mingling with their apprehension.
Skylar took a deep breath, her expression a mix of worry and determination. "Alright. I'll do what I can to get her here."
A few tense hours later, the commotion outside the prison grew quieter as the officers and emergency services worked to contain the chaos caused by Mia's fury. The guards were on high alert, and the city seemed to hold its breath, waiting for the next development.
Back in the cell, Jay paced restlessly, his worry for Mia growing by the minute. He could hear the distant rumble of an angry wind and the occasional thud as Mia's destructive rampage continued. He knew that he had to act fast.
Then, the commissioner came in. " Uh, we've got a wind ninja? She's very angry."
Jay's heart drooped. " Where is she?"
" In the meeting room. But-"
Jay didn't need to hear anymore. He pushed the commissioner aside and ran to the room. HE pushed the door open, and the sight was one that would make even Kai cry out in fear.
Police officers were twitching uncontrollably, their bodies giving out signatures of lightning. And don't even get me started on their weapons.
Jay called out, " Mia!"
Mia's head snapped to him. With a last punch to the police officer she had in her hand's jaw, she threw him aside and ran to Jay.
" Oh, Jay, I've missed you!" She cried.
