Like I said, I have no idea what to do for the titles. 😖😖😭🫣 I'm bad at this type of stuff.
Arin was demoted to first fang.
Everyone found out Mia knew the Rising Dragon.
Egalt asked for a demonstration and got the consequences. ( Mia did Rising Dragon and threw him to the moon.)
And the ninja... Well, they were... Training. Again. With Rontu.
Kai was saved from the never space ( totes to Bonzle and Mia). And Mia was in the library. Reading a book that struck her interest.
" Again!" Rontu exclaimed, and Arin took off doing his ' wonky' spinjitzu.
" Ugh, this is useless!" Arin exclaimed, throwing a rock. " I've been the same as I was before meeting the ninja! What's the point?"
" Don't give up, Arin!" Sora encouraged.
" Yeah, right. Don't give up. I gave up long before." Arin grumbled.
Just then, a white light came flying from the library to the group.
" Huh, wonder what that is?" Lloyd said, looking at it.
" Dunno. Looks special, though." Kai replied.
The light split in half, and knocked Sora and Arin off their feet as it went into their soul.
" Hey, guys? It's me, Mia. Yeah, I just found out I can do this. Meet me in the library, NOW! There are clouds coming to you. Hop on them, and I'll guide them to me."
" So, did you hear that?" Arin asked Sora.
" Yup."
" What clouds does she mean?"
" I dunno." Sora shrugged.
" Uh, guys? Heloooooo? " Lloyd said, waving his hand in front of Arins' face.
" Oh, whoops. Sorry, guys. We're fine." Arin apologized.
" Look!" Kai exclaimed, pointing to two clouds.
" You don't think...." Arin said.
" I think so." Sora replied.
Arin and Sora exchanged nervous glances. The clouds, puffy and white, looked harmless enough. But trusting a message delivered through a light beam and riding a cloud across the sky? It all felt a little...unorthodox.
"What do you think?" Sora whispered, her voice barely a murmur.
Arin hesitated. Doubt gnawed at him. Was this another setback, another test designed to expose his lack of progress? But then he remembered the frustration in Mia's voice, the urgency in her message. Taking a deep breath, he squared his shoulders.
"We have to try," he declared, his voice firm despite the tremor in his stomach. "Come on."
With a shared nod, they both lunged for the nearest cloud. It felt surprisingly solid beneath their feet, like a bouncy marshmallow. A giddy laugh escaped Sora's lips, and even Arin felt a flicker of excitement.
Suddenly, the cloud lurched forward, propelled by an unseen force. They yelped in surprise, clinging to each other as they were whisked through the air at breakneck speed. The world below blurred into a green and brown tapestry.
"Mia's fast!" Sora shouted, her voice barely audible over the whooshing wind.
Arin could only nod, his eyes watering from the wind whipping at his face. This was unlike any training session he'd ever experienced. But amidst the fear, a strange sense of exhilaration bloomed in his chest.
The world tilted at dizzying angles as Mia maneuvered them around obstacles. Tall trees whipped past, and the occasional bird squawked in alarm as they zipped by. Arin had to admit, this was better than another round of "wonky" Spinjitzu with Rontu.
Finally, the sky slowed, and the library came into view. As they neared the window, Mia's voice filled their heads, clear and crisp. "Alright, slow down! Easy landing."
The cloud obeyed, gently depositing them on the library floor with a soft plop. Arin landed on his backside, his heart hammering in his chest. Sora, already giggling, helped him to his feet.
"Wow," Sora breathed, a wide smile plastered on her face. "That was incredible! Thanks, Mia!"
They rushed through the library doors, eager to hear Mia's explanation. Inside one room, they found her surrounded by ancient scrolls, her brow furrowed in concentration. She looked up ,and happiness filled her face
"There you guys are!" Mia exclaimed, relief flooding her face. "Come on, I have so much to tell you."
She ushered them to a dusty table, littered with unfurled scrolls and glowing crystals. "It all started with this one," she said, pointing to a weathered scroll with strange symbols etched on its surface. "I was browsing the magic section when it practically jumped out at me."
" Jumped? Like, actually jumped out? Or it stuck out to you?" Arin asked.
" Yes. It had little legs with cute sandals." Mia said sarcastically.
" Oh. Well, that's nice."
Sora had to hide a giggle.
" Anyway, I read it, and it said something about a special ceremony." Mia continued.
" About what?" Arin asked.
Mia grinned. " So, you know how Sora has elemental powers and Arin knows spinjitzu?"
" Really wonky." Arin mumbled.
Mia smiled. " It's wonky because of two reasons I do not yet know. Anyway, in this ceremony, both the friends merge."
" Together?" Sora just had to ask.
Mia shook her head. " No, you'll still have your regular bodies. It's just that, in your case, Arin would have half of Sora's elemental powers, and Sora would have half of your spinjitzu. But, " Mia cautiouned, " this can only be done when you two are close together."
Moments passed in silence.
" Why?" Arin asked finally.
Mia shrugged.
" I don't know." Then, she grinned. " But, I do know one thing. Meet me in the courtyard at night. We're gonna try spinjitzu one more time."
