Two weeks later, in the other universe, the Elite Force walked into the penthouse

- "Well, congratulations, guys, that was our tenth mission in a week." Chase said.

- "Only ten?" Oliver frowned. "It feels more like a hundred. Using superpowers really takes it out of you. My whole body's sore." He sat on the couch.

- "Meow!" Maxwell ran towards his owner.

- "Hey, boy." The genius boy smiled and picked him up as he petted him.

- "Yeah, mine too." Kaz sat down as well, before groaning. "Oh, it hurts more to sit!"

- "OK, you guys haven't even had your powers that long, and you're already complaining." Skylar said.

- "Yeah, um, I have been running hundreds of miles an hour since I was a baby." Bree added and sat next on the couch. "Don't you talk to me about sore until you have bionic blisters." She took one of her high-heels boots and socks to show her foot.

- "AAAAAAHHHH!" The boys shouted, in disgust.

This is so gross. The green hazel-eyed boy frowned.

The cat dug his claws in his owner's hand, in fright.

- "Sorry, Max." Chase whispered and put him down.

Maxwell walked away.

- "Rookies." The hybrid scoffed, amused, before getting up. "Ow!"

- "Go lie down, baby. I'll be right back to help you with your feet." The Calderan, gently kissed her lips.

- "Thank you, my love." The Davenport girl smiled and walked away. "Ow! Ow! Ow!"

- "Man, if we feel this bad now, what's gonna happen when we get older?" The Evers boy asked.

- "I don't know." The Karev boy replied. "Ooh! But I can show you what we'll look like. Yeah, I have this app that ages photos." He took a picture of his childhood best friend. "That is you at 80." He turned the screen to show them.

The genius boy snickered.

- "Ugh!" The blue-eyed boy frowned.

- "Cute mustache." The Storm girl mocked.

- "Mustache?" The brown-eyed boy looked at his phone. "Yeah, that's all nose hair."

- "Guys, why are you so freaked out about growing older, anyway?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked. "It's just a part of life. Personally, I am looking forward to aging gracefully."

- "Oh, really? 'Cause this is you." Kaz took a picture of the youngest and showed him.

- "So?" Chase shrugged. "Big deal. That's what everybody looks like when they're 80." He smirked.

- "Dude, that's you at 40." The Karev boy said.

- "What?! Gimme!" The genius boy snatched the phone out of his hand. "Yeah. You're gonna need a new phone, 'cause this one just broke." He walked away.

Skylar chuckled as the childhood best friends frown.
