Two weeks later, Mon-El walked up to his girlfriend's couch with ice cream cups.

- "Wow! We're six seasons in and winter still hasn't come!" Kara exclaimed.

The Matthews man chuckled.

- "You know, since you got fired from CatCo, your queue has gone down exponentially." He said.

- "Yes, well, I am fully embracing my funemployment." The Danvers woman replied.

- "Funemployment." The Daxamite repeated.

- "What's next?" The Kryptonian asked.

- "Oh, how about, uh... How about one of those movies where everybody just... Just breaks into song out of nowhere?" Mon-El suggested.

- "You mean a musical?" Kara asked.

- "Yes! Yes." The Matthews man nodded. "Rox, showed me her favorites, show me yours."

- "Are you serious right now?" The Danvers woman questioned.

- "Dead serious." The Daxamite said.

- "You are opening the floodgates, my friend." The Kryptonian replied, making her boyfriend chuckle. "We have to watch Funny Face! It's Fred Astaire, Audrey Hepburn, being adorable. The most romantic movie ever!" She smiled widely, until she noticed the look on his face. "What?" She laughed.

- "That face." Mon-El gestured to her face. "That smile."

- "I'm just happy." Kara smiled.

- "Yeah?" The Matthews man replied.

- "Yeah, like that Dopey grin, butterflies in my stomach happy." The Danvers woman said.

- "Mmm-hmm." The Daxamite nodded.

- "Is that cheesy?" The Kryptonian buried her face into his neck, embarrassed.

- "It's like, it's like a rom-com on steroids cheesy." Mon-El smiled. "But I'm happy you're happy."

Kara leaned towards him to kiss his lips, before they smiled in the kiss.

The TV screen turned white.

- "What's the..." She frowned.

In the meanwhile, Maddie was sitting on the couch, petting Marie on her lap and watching 'Teen Beach Movie 2' when the screen turned white.

- "To his captors: We demand you turn over Mon-El of Daxam." The woman said. "We know where he is harbored. If you do not relinquish him by dawn, we will take him with force."

- "The fuck?" The Matthews girl frowned. "Was that... It can't be. Can it?" She put the cat on the couch and got up. "Sorry, baby. I need to go."

A couple of minutes later, the team was at the D.E.O.

- "When the transmission came through, an unknown spacecraft entered the lower atmosphere right above National City." J'onn explained.

- "What do a bunch of space invaders want with the former prince of Daxam?" Alex asked.

A hologram of the ship appeared.

- "Does any of this look familiar to you?" The J'onzz man questioned.
