Almost a month later, the Matthews siblings were getting ready for their first Christmas together.

They had decorated the living room and the kitchen.

Mon-El seemed distracted as he looked at the tree.

- "What do you think?" Maddie asked as she put a small light in the form of a snowman on the kitchen counter. "Isn't it cute?" She smiled as she petted Marie, who was wearing a mini Santa hat. "And so is she. Right, baby?"

The kitten purred.

The Matthews man did not reply.

The Matthews girl frowned and walked up to him.

- "Mon-El?" She put her hand on his shoulder from behind.

- "Yeah." The Daxamite looked at her. "Sorry."

- "Are you okay?" The quadbrid questioned.

- "Yeah." Mon-El nodded. "It's just that Christmas was the day you were kidnapped."

Maddie looked down.

- "I know that we found each other again and that you are okay, but..." The Matthews man started.

- "You can't stop thinking about that day." The Matthews girl continued.

- "It was the worst day of my life." The Daxamite said with tears in his eyes.

- "It's over. We're together." The quadbrid wrapped her arms around his back and laid her head on his chest.

- "I know." Mon-El smiled softly as he hugged her tightly.

- "And it's our first Christmas together." Maddie pulled away.

- "Don't act like you are 100% happy." The Matthews man frowned. "It's also your first Christmas without Leo and Tasha."

- "I know." The Matthews girl sighed. "But it's Christmas Eve, I can't cry."

- "You would have every reason to." The Daxamite said.

- "I know. I know." The quadbrid nodded. "But if I cried not of happiness, there's a good chance Chase and Leo would kill me." She chuckled softly.

Mon-El snickered.

- "Yeah. Probably." He replied.

- "So no tears of sadness." Maddie added.

The Matthews man nodded.

In the meanwhile, Kaz and Oliver went back home to spend the holiday with their families as the three other of the team went to the Davenport mansion.

Daniel was spending Christmas Eve with his adoptive parents.

While Marcus and Douglas stayed at the academy to spend it together with the students.

- "My parents are coming soon." Tasha said, panicked. "I can't believe Janice is spending Christmas with her husband's family and is leaving me with our mom alone."

- "Mom, relax, you're not alone. Grandma is way more relax since she got back with grandpa." Chase put his hand on her shoulder.

- "The only reason they broke up was because of Eddy." The mother sighed as she wrapped her arm around his back.
