The next morning, the three women were at the D.E.O.

- "Not exactly one for your greatest hits reel." J'onn said.

- "I sent a team to scan the area." Alex replied. "No signs of extraterrestrial activity, so we can probably rule out an alien shape-shifter. Unless there's something you're not telling us."

- "The skirt was surprisingly comfortable, but no." The J'onzz man denied.

Maddie snickered. Good to know, J'onn.

- "Who could she be? Is it a clone?" Supergirl asked.

- "Unlikely." The older Danvers sighed. "Even if an enemy had harvested your DNA when you came out as Supergirl, the embryo would still be in gestation."

- "What about Maxwell Lord?" The Matthews girl asked. "I know he had a young woman in his lab."

- "She's right. Could he have done something to the young woman you saw when you broke into his lab?" The agent asked.

- "She was comatose, her cerebral cortex functioning was almost nonexistent." The director replied. "Bringing her back to even partial consciousness would be like raising the dead."

- "Are you sure?" The younger Danvers asked.

- "Maxwell Lord does have a God complex." J'onn said. "But he's not an actual God." He walked away.

- "We shouldn't rule that out. After all, this is a DC universe, anything is capable of happening." The quadbrid replied. "The number of people who came back to life in different universes is insane."

Later, Maddie walked up to her desk, where she had a new pile of files.

Okay, I finished the first one, in a day, so she's giving me another. She snickered.

- "Do you want help?" Mia asked.

- "No, I'm fine." The Matthews girl said. "It's easy for me to read this stuff."

- "Seriously? I would want to gorge my eyes out if I had to read all that." The Krillin woman sighed.

- "I like it." The quadbrid shrugged.

- "Nerd." The Agotarian scoffed.

- "Thank you." Maddie rolled her eyes, amused.

- "Good luck." Mia sat at her desk.

- "Thanks." The Matthews girl started to read the files.

Later, Maddie walked up to Kara at her desk.

- "I'm done. Here is everything Ms. Grant asked for." She put her researches on the desk.

- "Already?" The Danvers woman raised her eyebrows. "Wow."

- "I used to do that a lot with Chase." The Matthews girl shrugged.

- "Abby!" Cat yelled.

- "I think that's you." The Kryptonian whispered.

The quadbrid took the researches and walked in to the office.
