Universe 124

Tuesday, 14th June 2016

A week later, in the other universe, Donald ran down the stairs, wearing a unitard, as his son was putting out a fire with an extinguisher.

- "I heard an explosion. What happened?" He asked. "Did we get attacked by shape-shifters again?

- "Ahh!" Chase yelled when he saw his father's outfit. "No, but could you cover up? I'm seeing a few too many shape-shifting over there." He threw a blanket to him.

- "What happened?" He questioned.

- "I'm guessing a combination of gravity and middle-age." Kaz replied.

That's what I'm saying. Thank you. The genius boy nodded.

- "To that." The scientist pointed to the burnt coffee table, annoyed.

- "Oh, well, um, Oliver and Chase were talking about science, I got bored, I yawned, um, something flew out of my mouth, and voilà, I set the table on fire." The Karev boy explained, awkwardly.

- "He found another superpower. It's a fire grenade." Oliver said.

- "Fire grenade? That's lame. I'm calling it my yawn bomb." The brown-eyed boy chuckled.

- "Yeah, 'cause that's much better." The Evers boy, sarcastically, replied.

- "So, wait, you just discovered something you didn't even know you had?" The green hazel-eyed boy frowned. "How many powers were in that space rock?

- "That's tough to say." Kaz shrugged. "I mean, it didn't really come with a manual, and even if it did, I probably wouldn't read it."

- "You would if it was a comic book." Chase snickered.

- "Yep." The Karev boy nodded.

- "This is just like you guys when you unlock new bionic abilities." Donald said.

- "Oh, yeah, except that our abilities come from a highly advanced infrastructure and theirs come from a magic witch pebble." The genius boy replied. "Woooooo!" He mocked.

- "Maddie had superpowers." The blue-eyed boy frowned.

- "Because of the yellow sun and radiations of a scientific spaceship. Her powers are based on science, not yours." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

- "Either way, this is a great opportunity for the team. We can teach them to hone their abilities the way I trained you." The father explained.

- "Superhero school. That sounds like fun." Oliver smiled.

- "School? Boring!" The brown-eyed boy yawned, and a fire grenade came out of his mouth, setting am umbrella stand on fire.

Chase yelped and ran to put out the fire with the extinguisher.

- "Well, that's the last time that umbrella stand attacks us." Kaz said.

Later, the four boys walked into Mission Command.

- "Good news, ladies." Donald walked up to the girls. "I'm about to teach my first class of superhero school.

- "I'm out." Bree got up.

- "Right behind you." Skylar followed her.

Chase frowned as he looked at the girls walking away.
