The next day at CatCo, Maddie was putting files on Kara's desk.
- "Where is Ker-rah?" Cat walked out of her office. "And why isn't she answering her cell phone?"
- "Uh, maybe she can't." The Matthews girl said.
- "We're actually in the middle of the worst solar storm in recorded history. It's just been scrambling communication signals all morning." Winn added. "I'm sure there's a... There's a good reason."
- "I know the reason." The Grant woman replied. "She's avoiding me. She's obviously afraid that I plan to retaliate because she drove my son away right when I was repairing my relationship with him. But I am a professional. I do not do upset. So, you can tell Ker-rah that it is safe for her to resume her duties." She walked into her office.
The duo of employees sighed and walked towards James.
- "Hey, hey, have you seen Kara?" The Schott man asked. "She, she still, hasn't come in yet."
- "No." The Olsen man said. "I haven't been able to reach her either."
- "I don't feel it." The quadbrid added.
- "Okay, that is so not Kara." The tech guy replied.
- "We should call Alex." The three, simultaneously, said.

A couple of minutes later, Maddie teleported everyone to Kara's building.
- "She's not out on D.E.O. business." Alex said.
- "There's nothing on the news about Supergirl." Winn added.
- "I got a bad feeling about this." James continued.
- "You bring your key?" The Schott man asked.
- "Yeah." The older Danvers kicked the door open.
- "Badass." The Matthews girl said.
They walked in the apartment and everything was upside down.
- "Kara?" The agent called out.
- "Oh, my God!" The Olsen man exclaimed when they saw in her, laying in her bedroom floor, with a creature on her.
It looked like roses were on top with red spikes with tentacles wrapped around her body.
