Don’t let the heart be hurried so,
for time will turn, like rivers flow.
What’s meant to be will find its way,
no matter what some people say.
If fate won’t bend beneath your hand,
then dance upon its shifting sand.
Go lightly. Laugh, forgive, forget,
the sun still rises though it set.
The unknown waits, let it be kind,
don’t hold on to storms within your mind.
For joy is found in fleeting hours,
in morning air, in fields of flowers.
So breathe, and smile, and simply be
there’s grace in calm, just wait and see.
Life hums along, both wild and funny
as you remember to be sunny.
