"So what are you afraid of, Flame?" Jeff asked, breaking the blissful silence. "You broke the silence." she whined, avoiding the question. "Answer the question." he gave her a stern glare. She sighed, "All my fears trace back to my mom." "Why do you call her that?" he cocked his head to the side.

"I don't know what else to call her" she winced. "What are you afraid of?" he tried again. "Small spaces; clastrophopic" she muttered. "Why?" he asked. "Why do you ask so many questions?" she laughed. "Because you never answer  them" he shot back. "But anyway," he continued. "If I locked you in a small closet you would freak out" he couldn't help but ask. "Y-y-you're not g-g-g-gonna lock me in a-a t-t-tiny c-closet, are you" she turned paler. "No" he reasurred her quickly.

She stood up and stretched, yawning along the way. "Where are you going?" now Jeff was on his feet. "Back to the mansion." she muttered. "You don't have to come, y'know." she shrugged. "I'll come." he chuckled slightly. "Then let's go."

Flame sighed as she walked into her room. It was bittersweet. Her mom had somehow found her, but at least it was raining. Flame liked the rain, she didn't know why, she just did. "Are you okay?" Dark gave her a worried look. "Fine." she mumbled under her breath. She didn't wanna talk, but she didn't want him to leave.

"We couldn't find her." he gave her a small smile. "I'm so-" he started, before she cut him off. "Shut up." she got him to shut up. "Come here, Phoenix" he pulled her into his chest. She sighed, "I honestly don't know what to do now." she confessed. "So I'll drink." she pulled away from him, before grabbing a bottle of beer.

She was downing them quickly and was actually really drunk right now. She sighed and tossed the last bottle in the trash before turning back to Dark. "Flame..." he started hesitantly. "Your face is turning green." She dashed into the bathroom and retching sounds were herad. Dark chuckled before walking into the bathroom, holding her hair back, and rubbing her back.

She pulled away to face him before walking back into her room. "Too much to drink?" Flame could  hear the smirk in his voice. "Too much to drink." she agreed. "Come here." he repeated for the second time. "Why?" she couldn't help but instigate. "Because I wanna cuddle with you." he collapsed onto her bed and pulled her into his chest.

"Sleep." he gave her a stern look before kissing her cheek. "M'kay" Flame was in an agreeable mood. She wasn't going to admit it, but she felt safer around him. And that  was something she'd never felt before.  Safe;  not her forte. Ever. So, Dark was something she needed. A small bit of hope. Ending her fears when she was with him.
