Someone leaving as most would say
Is viewed as a loss to this day
But for me I couldn't be happier
When I left my relationship that couldn't get sappier
For late at night I'd hear the tone
Oh so quietly coming from his phone
He would stir with me not saying a word
And tears would flee
My eyes as flooded as the sea
I'd reach over to unlock the truth
Wishing that my mascara was waterproof
And read the message I have dreaded to see
It being clear that I meant nothing to he
Fake love I was forced to forsee
For I couldn't leave my beloved you see?
He's all I've got in this small world
And that fact alone, made me want to hurl.
But later After years of pretending
And my money that he has been spending
I brought on the courage
To leave this deadly circuit
I left so I could be happier
I got in my car to leave this joke of a relationship
That couldn't get sappier.
