The thought of happiness swarms in her deprived mind.

Pulling and tearing away at what is already worn.

Her pain is oblivious to the eyes of the blind,

But one in the midst of the crowd sees she's so very torn.

He believes he can help, and tries so very hard.

But what's the point in fixing what's already scarred.

Scars don't heal but fade away,

Much like a relationship when love turns to gray.

Both are too scared to leave,

So they stay in place as if they were trees.

Her Pushing away the love,

Worried of the pain that comes with the resemblance of a dove,

and calling a plea,

Makes the boy feel as if she's saying "you're killing me."

His whole heart crumbles to ashes

After all the repeated bashes.

Now both feel unloved, wandering the sea,

Both asking,

how could this happen to me?
