I apologize for my absence. I can get really lazy. But enjoy.😊

I was fixing my outfit when I heard the door bell ring.

"I've got it!" My brother yelled. Did I mention I had a 12 year old brother who barely stays home because he claims he has "better" things to do. Which only consists of going over to his lame friends house to play video games.

"No I got it!!" I yelled while running down the stairs. After about 5 minutes of wrestling with my brother, I finally opened the door and there stood Shawn smirking. But it soon dropped once the people behind him started speaking.

"Hi there." A woman and man spoke.
Before I could respond my mom came dashing towards the door.

"Hi. I'm y/m/n. Come in!" We moved to the side letting Shawn and his parents in followed by a girl who stopped in front of my brother.

"Hi I'm Aaliyah. Shawn's sister." She stuck out her hand.

" 'Sup I'm y/b/n." He grabbed her hand and kissed it in which she giggled. We all made our way to the dining room where my mom cooked Chicken Parmesan.

It was me, Shawn, and my mom across from Shawn's parents, Shawn's sister and my brother.

"So I see you all just moved in. May I ask where from?" My mother asked passing the food around.

"Oh yes we're from Canada." Shawn's mom answered.

"Oh that's wonderful. Y/n and I always wanted to visit there!" My mother exclaimed.

"Well we visit a great lot. Maybe we could make plans?" Shawn's mom said.

"Yeah we could. Wouldn't that be nice y/n?" Aaliyah asked.

"I'd love to." I smiled. "Yeah. Really nice." Shawn whispered and snored while putting his hand on my thigh.

I slapped away and he yelped in pain.

"Is everything alright Shawn?" Shawn's dad asked along with everyone looking to him in concern.

I waited for his answer with a smirk on my face.

"Oh yeah. Yes sir. I'm fine everyone." He weakly smiled.

Every first hesitated but then continued talking amongst one another.

"Such a bad girl. I like." Shawn whispered in my ear sending chills down my back.

"Oh really. Well this bad girl isn't interested." I whispered keeping him quiet for a while. Of course I know it was a lie but I'm not letting him in that easy. I know my worth and he needs to understand that instead of acting like a fuckboy.

The rest of the night consisted of getting to know each other and smacking Shawn's hand away multiple times. After dinner my mom and Shawn's parent went in the living room to talk and my brother and Shawn's sister went to play video games.

"Wanna go outside and talk?" Shawn nervously asked.

"What? No Netflix and chill?" We both laughed and headed to the backyard.

"Umm. I uh want to apologize about acting like...that." Shawn lowered his head.

"It's okay. You're not the first to act this way towards me." I chuckled.

"I wouldn't blame them. You're a beautiful girl y/n. You make me nervous." He blushed.

"Aww. That's sweet." I laughed.

We talked for what seemed for hours. He stayed when his family left and we talked more. By the end of the night we knew this was the beginning of a great relationship.
