"Alright kids we have to be quiet while walking through the hallways."

Shawn whispered while we both led the kids through the orphanage.

We stopped at a corner so they could go to the bathroom.

I watched some of the kids while Shawn took a few to the bathroom.

Once he came back I took the other few.

I was helping an eight year old little girl named Alise wash her hands.

"You're very pretty ms. Y/n." She said while looking up at me.

"Why thank you, Alise. But I think you're much more prettier than me."
She blushed and giggled making me laugh.

"My mommy was really pretty too. I never saw her wear makeup though. She said beauty is more than what you present yourself as."

"Well your mom was right." I smiled grabbing her hand.

Once we made it out the restroom everyone was patiently waiting for us.

"Alright kids were going outside to play."

The kids cheered but Shawn quickly shushed them.

When we got outside all the kids immediately ran to the playing stations.

Everyone had a buddy to okay with except for Alise. She was sitting under a tree playing with her fingers. Alise has always been shy since she first arrived here, she just hasn't found anyone to open her up.

"Babe." I felt a nudge and looked up at Shawn.

"You should go talk to her, she only likes you, you know." He grinned.

"Whatever, I'll be right back. Watch the kids."

I left from Shawn and went to Alise and squatted beside her.

"It's such a good day to be outside." I sighed looking around.

"Don't you agree.?" My eyes landed on her.

"I guess so." She mumbled looking down at her hands.

"Yeah that slide looks pretty cool, don't you think?" I said motioning to the slide almost every kid was eager to get on.

She looked up at it and smiled. "Yeah I guess it looks cool."

"You should go try it out." I turned my head to her. She looked over at me and vigorously shook her head no.

"Aww comon, sitting under a tree isn't a good way to spend this day." We laughed at my rhyme.

She got up and I followed her actions.

"I'm only doing this because I liked your rhyme."

I bowed. "Glad I could help."

I walked back to Shawn who was clasping his hands.

"Good job Mrs. Mendes." He high fived me.

"Hey ain't nothin to it but to do it." I chuckled.

A couple of minutes later if taking with Shawn I head a thump and a couple of screams.

I quickly turned my head and saw a couple if kids crowding around someone. Shawn and I quickly went over to them.

"Alright move away guys." This kids moved back and I saw that Alise was on the ground holding her ankle.

"Alise!" I gasped dropping down to her.

"Ms. Y/n. It hurts." She whined with tears streaming down her face.

"Alright can anyone tell me what happened?" Shawn asked looking at the rows of kids.

One child immediately stepped forwards. He pushed his glasses up and pulled at the suspenders on chest.

He looked like a snitch.

A/n: Just imagine that kid with glasses from polar express.

"Well, sir, we all were patiently waiting for Alise to go down the slide when that kid,"

He pointed to a tall boy.

"Pushed her off the slide."

"Oh, I see." Shawn looked over at him.

"Come here, son." The boy huffed but eventually came over to Shawn.

"I want you all to take a good long look at your playground bully. Because he will be the reason we're cutting recess early. Line up. "

Everyone groaned and lined up.

"You, kid. In the font." Shawn pointed and the boy followed.

"Alright, inside voices before we go inside."

I picked Alise up and headed inside to the nurse
