13. Candlelit Surprise (Chen)

"JongDae, where the hell are you taking me?" You chuckled and you were lead, a blindfold wrapped around your eyes, to a place you had no clue of.

"I'm not going to tell you," your boyfriend said. Chen was stood behind you, his hands placed securely, but gently on your shoulders, guiding you through the city. The only things giving away that you were outside was the sound of traffic whizzing past and the cold nightly breeze that washed against the exposed skin of your cheeks.

"Come on," you whined and threw your arms up into the air above your head in frustration. "You know I despise surprises."

Chen leaned against your back, moving his lips to hover beside your ear before whispering, "you'll love this one."

A sudden rush of heat washed over you as you stepped inside an unknown building. Being lead around blindly you were told to stand still when a little beeping noise sounded. The floor moved under your feet and your slightly lost your footing, crashing into a cold metal wall.

Afterw another beeping sound filled your ears Chen gripped your shoulders again and got you to move forward a couple of big steps before pulling you to a stop again. "Are we there yet?" You groaned and heard your boyfriends beautiful deep laugh.

"Yes," he whispered softly into your ear, placing a gentle kiss on your cheek. With a quick tug, the blindfold fell off and you gasped, your hands flying up to cover your mouth.

You were at the very top of NamSan Tower and set just ahead of you was a single table with two chairs set either side, a flickering candle set in the centre of the neatly dressed table. A candle lot dinner at one of South Korea's most beautiful locations.

You spun around to face Chen, who was holding a single, delicate looking blood red rose in his hand, extended out towards you. "Chen!" You gasped as tears of joy well up in your eyes.

He walked over and placed a quick, sweet kiss on your lips before speaking in a proud tone. "Surprise!"
