"I'll get it!" you heard your mother yell from down stairs at the sounding of the door bell. Your heart thumped against your chest and stomach flipped with nerves.

Feeling rather flustered and a little unprepared you sprung up off your stool in front of your mirror and started to pace about your bedroom, tapping your index finger against yours teeth as you tried to force yourself to remember if you'd forgotten to do anything.

*My dress is on* you thought as you looked down and flattened out the creases in your pretty white knee length frock. "My bedroom is tidy and make up is on," you spoke aloud to yourself, skimming your eyes around the room to ensure you hadn't managed to miss a bra or pair of knickers that would only embarrass you when your boyfriend spotted them. Pondering you asked yourself, "Am I forgetting something?"

"You're forgetting me," a beautiful, velvet tone sang, his voice ringing inside your ears like a song. With a deep blush on your cheeks you twirled on the tips of your toes, only to gasp and stumbled back a step when a pair of plump red lips stole a kiss from your own. "Steady there, clumsy," Jongin chuckled as he reached out and wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you against his chest. "I don't want my date hurting herself before we even get a chance to go out."

With flushed cheeks you playfully slapped Jongin's arm and squirmed out of his grasp, quickly shuffling over to your makeup desk and sitting down to apply a layer of pastel pink gloss to your lips. "I've brought. you something," Jongin said from behind you.

"Oh," you muttered and turned your head to look at your boyfriend, the breath catching in your throat when you found him stood at your side, a bouquet of twelve dazzling blood red roses in his hand. "I know it's boring to get flowers and everybody does it, but when I saw how beautiful they are they just reminded me of you."

Somehow, your cheeks managed to blush even brighter, reaching out to take the flowered in your arms, burying your nose in them and inhaling the earthy scent of the crimson petals. "Jongin, they're beautiful," you gushed.

"All of them are real," he explained, moving to stand behind you, one of his soft hands settled on your shoulder as the other reached into the bouquet to pull and single rose away from the bunch. "Except this one. This one is fake."

You tilted your head to look up at Jongin, your bright eyes meeting his dark ones, a distinctive twinkle shimmering in the corner of his iris. "I will love you," he started as he slid the plastic flower back in with the eleven other real ones and dotted a kiss on your cheek. "Until the last one dies."
