Your fingers tingled with anticipation as you quickly typed your email and password into the log in details of a worldwide chat room, biting down on your lip nervously when the small buffering circle appeared centre screen, eagerly awaiting your for the online page to load.
You were a young English teacher and had decided that you would be moving abroad to South Korea to teach it as a foreign language.
Why? Because of him.
An easily recognised and welcome beep filled your ears and you squeaked with excitement as a small chat popped up in the corner of the page.
'You're online early today' he wrote, a small winking face at the end of the message. Your nerves suddenly got the better of you as your eyes focused upon the message, all confidence seeming to rub away as you thought about what it would be like to actually meet this mystery man.
You pressed your fingers to the keys and wrote, 'Yeah, I was bored, ^^'.
':( aww.' He sent, your heart seeming to sink deep in your chest at the sight of the frowning emoticon. 'I thought you came on earlier to spend more time with me! Guess I got my hopes up too high, ey?'.
He had seen right through your lie. Of course you had logged in earlier just for him. But you found it painful that you were falling for a guy you had never met.
Do Kyungsoo was a beautiful man. His pale milky skin, bulbous brown eyes and soft looking plump pink lips. His hair was a gorgeous luscious red, a neatly cut fringe swept across his forehead to frame his glorious, sparkle filled eyes, and perfectly proportioned nose. Compared to his heavenly looks, you thought yourself as average. Normal black dyed hair with a straight cut full fringe, layers feathered down to where your hair ended just after your shoulders. Your eyes were big, but not the luscious chocolate brown like Kyungsoo's. Yours, on the other hand, were the rare shade of light grey, a dark ring of blue circling your iris. Your nose was however perfect, your lips thin but still just as soft, a splattering if freckles dotting the bridge of your nose and the apple of your cheeks.
When Kyungsoo first saw your face on your first ever line we chat his heart fluttered with joy, his breath hitching at your beauty. For he too, had fell for somebody he had never met.
'_______' he typed your name, wondering what it would sound like being spoken by his beautiful voice. 'I was wondering if I could propose a challenge?'
'Sure, I love a good challenge! :D'
'Brilliant. Because I was hoping we could take a bash at a long distance relationship.'
His massage seemed to be a little delayed, as if his nerves were just as active as yours were. He truly knew how to send your heart rocketing, and you always wondered that if this is what he could do 4000 miles apart, you dreaded to think what he was canals of when your bodies were no more than four inches away.
You had to sit on your hands to stop the urge of typing 'yes' a thousand times repeatedly in capitals, holding your inner fangirl at bay. Once you had calmed a little you typed a simple reply of 'I'd love to' and smiles like an idiot.
On the other side of the internet, Kyungsoo however wasn't holding his excitement in so well. At the receiving of your answer he had hopped off his chair and fist pumped the air, cheering out a chorus of yeses and whoops, one of his flat mates eventually having to drag his backside back down to the seat.
"I take it she said yes then," his friend giggles, patting Kyungsoo's back.
Kyungsoo couldn't stop smiling, his cheeks actually hurting from the grin. "I'm so happy, Baek." Kyungsoo mumbled. "I can't wait till she comes to visit so I can hold my beautiful girl for the first time."
