HAPPY KAISOO DAY

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kyungsoo loved winter. The novelty of cold, numb fingers, gale-force hair styles and the bitter winds that blow you backwards. Snuggling up on the sofa in the early hours of the morning with his laptop settled on the arm chair, a smile settling on his plump heart shaped lips when he came across a photo on the internet, his heart leaping within his chest as he gazed upon the photograph, about to save it into a file when a honking could be heard from outside.
Twisting his head, Kyungsoo reached over the back of the sofa to peel back the corner of the curtain to look out through the condense covered windows, his smile only growing bigger when he spotted the dark, wavy haired boy step out from a car, combing his fingers through his soft locks as he flashed a smile in Kyungsoo's direction.
With a quick flick of his wrist the door was shut, pressing his thumb down on his car key, stuffing it deep in his tight jean pocket once the universally recognised "beep beep" had sounded.
He walked, his strode almost a skip and he made his way up the gravel path to the front door. Once seeing he was half way to the door, Kyungsoo practically flew off the cushions and lunged for the door, pulling it open just as the bell was to be rung.
"Morning!" Kyungsoo chirped excitedly and dragged the darker skinned lad over the threshold.
With a soft smile set on the others lips Kyungsoo took his chance to tow his guest into the living room. "Been busy I see," the lad joked when he saw the laptop still whirring away on the sofa, a picture he recognised as himself and Kyungsoo holding hands walking through the streets, guilt free and happy.
"Would you like a drink, Jongin? A sandwich? A biscuit mayb-"
"Hyung, stop," jongin chuckled, shaking his head gently as he settled his hand on the shorter lads shoulders. "Today is your day, I will make you a drink." Jongin gave Kyungsoo's shoulder a gentle squeeze as he placed a peck on Kyungsoo's now blushing cheek.
Striding his way into the kitchen, Jongin went about his ways, gliding and prancing around the kitchen with such grace it was almost as if he were defying gravity and floating on air, his stomach still flipping and his heart still thumping from the kiss he had just given Kyungsoo.
Finishing off the freshly made cups of tea, Jongin reached across the counter and gripped the newspaper from a couple weeks ago, smiling at the cover photo, a small twang of pride bubbling up within him when he thought about Kyungsoo hanging into such a late edition.
With a smile Jongin brought the white mug to his lips and sipped away at the scorching fluid, his eyes skimming over the cover. So endured in rereading the newspaper, Jongin failed to hear the almost silent footsteps of Kyungsoo's and he made his way into the kitchen, sneaking up behind Kyungsoo to wrap his arms around the younger boys waist.
"I guess your wondering why I kept that?" Kyungsoo whispered into Jongin's ear, stepping up on his tiptoes slightly just so he could comfortably settle his chin on the taller boys shoulder, his head tilted so his lips brushed upon Jongin's cheek.
Jongin reached down to grip at Kyungsoo's laced hands settled upon his stomach, letting his tanned thumb stroke over the milky skin of the other. "I know exactly why you kept it." Jongin twisted his head round and smirked. "Because I kept one too."
Kyungsoo chuckled, blushing when Jongin stroked his fingers over his own, them gliding over a warm band of metal neatly wrapped round Kyungsoo's finger. "You didn't have to do it, you know," Kyungsoo mumbled as Jongin started to twiddle with the golden band, twisting it round and smiling as the metal shone.
"Of course I did," Jongin muttered softly, his voice soft and gently like smooth velvet. Setting his drink down Jongin twisted in Kyungsoo's arms and dropped back to lean against the kitchen counter, pulling The older lad forwards to land against his chest, jongin securing him in his strong arms, pressing his pink, plump lips to Kyungsoo's temple. "Am I not allowed to show my love for you?"
"You are, but why so publically?"
Jongin snickered and rolled his dark eyes, a smile on his lips. "The fans are happy for us, hyung. We couldn't have asked for anything more." Jongin leaned his head down and locked his lips with Kyungsoo's, feeling the older lad melt ever so slightly into his arms. "I love you, hyung," Jongin whispered these heartfelt words with his forehead pressed to Kyungsoo's, his fingers still fiddling with the ring on Kyungsoo's finer. "And when I got on my knees on that stage, asked that question and slipped this ring on your finger, just proves that I want to stay as us for the rest of our time."
