93. Baekhyun (cute)

"Look at that one!" Baekhyun sang as he pointed his finger up towards the black cloudless sky, thousands of starts shimmering in the dark, endless oblivion. You followed his long pointed finger to look at a small clustering of silver stars.

"What am I supposed to be looking at," you mumbled to nobody in particular, squinting your eyes into the darkness as if somehow it would magically make what Baekhyun was seeing visible to your own eyes.

"It's a bunny!" He squeaked excitedly, his lips pulling up at the corners to reveal his heart stopping, award winning grin.

You looked harder at the swamp of starts pointed out my Baekhyun, but no matter how hard you tried, you still couldn't see the shape he saw in the starts. Using your peripheral vision you saw your boyfriends beaming smile drop a little as he looked upon your confused expression.

"Look!" he ordered kindly. "There's it's floppy ears," he described as he motioned towards the top of the cluster. "And there's is fluffy little tail."

You shuffled your back against the blanket, hoping that changing the place you were lying would help you spot the animal shape easier. No such luck. With pity you widened your eyes and gasped, "Oh, I see it!" you gushed and smiled brightly, turning your head you flash Baekhyun your sweet eye smile, him giving you his in return, his eyes shining brighter than the stars.

Star gazing was a common pass time you and Baekhyun did together. It just turned out your back garden was in the perfect spot for it, with your house being on a lowly hill in the countryside surrounded by nothing but vast corn fields and other isolated cottages. The nearest city being more than an hours drive away. It was perfect.

"You don't see it, do you?" Baekhyun muttered softly, his voice sweet and understanding. Biting your lip your shook your head, feeling rather disappointed in yourself, but all that self doubt washed away when Baekhyun attacked his lips to yours. "Don't worry, I couldn't see the tiger you pointed out either."

It was silent for a few milliseconds as your brain processes Baekhyun's words, but you soon turned your head away and let out a joyous chuckle. "You know," Baekhyun started as he shuffled across the blanket to become closer to your side, sliding his arm under your neck as you rolled to settle your head on his chest, tapping your finger against Baekhyun's stomach to the rhythm of his strong steady heartbeat. "I came out here last night after you went to sleep."

You tilted you head to look up at his peaceful face, the suns light reflecting off the full moon to cast a silvery glow against Baekhyun's milky skin. "What did you do that for?"

He merely shrugged his shoulders, pouting his bottom lip out slightly. "I didn't really know myself until I lay down and started to match each and every star with a reason why I love you."

Your heart fluttered deep in your chest, a hot flush working it's way to your cheeks and you thanked the night for hiding it from Baekhyun's sight. "How did that turn out?" you chuckled, using your index finger to draw soft circles across the thin grey cotton covering Baekhyun's strong chest.

"I was doing great!" he boasted, looking down into your eyes, the circular reflection of the moon evident in the black of Baekhyun's pupil. He lowered his head to place a gentle kiss upon your lips before looking back up at the sky, his head resting against the fleecy blanket comfortably. "That was until I ran out of stars."
