A/N: Cute Lay imagine requested by @xxIssuesUnsolvedxx. I hope you like it :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You sighed heavily, slumped on your stool by the counter you turned to the next page of your magazine and started to read the next article, which was some boring rubbish on how to have healthy nails. You rolled your eyes and scoffed at how pathetic the magazine was but read it anyway. But then looked down at your nails and huffed when you saw the badly chipped red nail vanish. You shrugged it off and went back to reading. "Gosh, YoonMi, you really do have no taste in magazines." You giggled to yourself.
Music played quietly in the background and you looked up and around the shop, checking to make sure no new customers had arrived while your nose was buried in your magazine. Empty.
You looked back at the pages and turned over. You straightened up immediately and sat on the edge of the stood, gripping the counter with your nails. Set across two pages was probably the most eye catching article on the whole paper. *Exo and their Exotics* was the title and you read quickly, reading about how Exo members have been seen out and about with fans, but one caught your eye more than the others.
The last paragraph read: "22 year old Lay has probably got around the most, he has been seen with five girls in the past week. When the boys were asked they said that they wanted to do more for their dedicated fans, so they did a competition to see which lucky Exotics would get to have a full day with their favourite member, and it turns out, young Lay was the most popular choice between winners*.
Your blood boiled, your hand gripped the page the article was on and it crumpled up tightly. "He's mine you son of a-" You stopped yourself when you heard the door swing open and you looked up to see somebody with his back pressed against the door panting heavily. He bolted the door shut and ran over to you in a frantic state.
"I need help!" He yelled at you. Your heart skipped from the shock. He was wearing a beanie hat pulled down low on his forehead with his hood up, he also had a white surgical mask on covering his nose and mouth.
"Erm..." You hesitated. "How may I help?" You looked into his dark eyes.
"Hide me!" He whispered. He sounded desperate and needy. "Please, I'll do anything!"
"I guess you could hide in the back." You pointed over to the door that lead to where the labels and other stocks were kept. He thanked you and ran as quickly as he could through the door, slamming it behind him.
You stared at the door to the stock room with a questionable look on your face. *People are getting stranger and stranger* you thought and went back to reading the rest of the crumpled article until there was a loud thunderous rumble emitting from outside the main door.
"Let us in!"..."We know he's in here!"... The yells continued and you stood up and went to see what the whole commotion was and when you got to the door your jaw dropped. Stood outside the door was dozens of girls, ranging from early teens to early twenties.
"What the heck are you all doing?!" You yelled and glared at all the girls banging against the glass doors of the music shop you waste nearly 17 hours in every week. "Go home!" They all complained but eventually started to divide and go their separate ways.
You pressed your nose to the glass and glanced from side to side. "What on earth was that all about?" You whispered to yourself. After cleaning the steam off the glass you went to sit back on your stool.
Somebody cleared their throat and you looked up to see the guy who had been hiding in the back room was poking his head out round the door. "Is it safe?" He muttered and you just raised an eyebrow. "Are they all gone?"
"What the hell are you talking about?" You tilted your head slightly to the side and scratched your index finger to your temple.
"The girls, are they all gone?" You were so confused but you couldn't be bothered asking him because you'd been working for 9 hours straight and all you could think of was your nice warm bed and soft plush pillow. You just nodded and looked down at the page.
You saw a hand being placed on the counter and you looked up to see the disguised man stood in front of you. You looked up at him and furrowed your eyebrows, pushing them together. "Yes?" You said rudely. "What do you want?"
"Is there anything I can do to thank you?" He asked and bent down a little to move close to you. You shook your head and gave him an odd look. He looked down at the magazine you were reading and smiled to himself behind the mask. He ran away and you watching him with a befuddled expression.
He scanned his finger along the CD's and stopped at one. He smiled and picked it up before heading back to the counter where you were sat staring at him. He put the CD on the side and reached over the counter and pulled a black market pen out of the pot and started to write on the CD case.
You shot up off the stool sending it flying backwards. "Yah, what the hell are you doing?!" You yelled at him. You couldn't believe he was writing all over a CD. "You better pay for that!"
"I don't need to pay for it," he chuckled and pushed it over to you. You grabbed it and read the message. *Thanks for the help! Saranghae! <3* was written in awefully scripted Korean and then there was a signature. You squinted struggling to read what it said.
"Yes you do!" You scowled at him. "I'll get in trouble for this!" He just laughed and raised his hands. Pulling his hood down, taking his hat off and finally he slowly pulled the mask down and your jaw dropped. "Y-your..." Your breath caught in your throat.
"Yep," he nodded and smiled at you, the centre of his right cheek indinting inwards to reveal an adorable dimple, and your heart fluttered like a butterfly. "I see you're a fan." He nodded down to the magazine and beamed brightly. You nodded slowly, completely astonished at who was standing in front of you.
"Lay?" You gasped and he winked at you playfully and your stomach exploded with butterflies.
"Please, call me Yixing." He smiled a down at you wider. "I tell you what, since you helped me, how about you join me for... I don't know... A meal?"
"A meal?"
He nodded. "Yeah, how about Saturday? It's on me!" He grinned a brilliant smile and your bones turned to jelly. You nodded nervously and he gave you a tenner. "That's for the CD, so you don't get in trouble." He handed you his mobile number on a slip of card, put his disguise back on and walked out of the shop.
Once the door had shut and you saw him walk down the street you jumped up into the air and screamed loudly. "Oh my goodness gracious me!" You stomped your feet quickly on the floor, your stomach clenched from the excitement. "I've got a date with Lay?... Holy crap!"
