"I'm so sorry, sir, but there is nothing more I can do," the woman behind the counter sympathised with a frown on her over powdered face. Her thick foundation moulding into the creases under her eyes as she formed a grimace and apologised for the tenth time.

"Are you sure?" He asked, rising up to stand on his tip toes, his hands on the counter to support his weight as he attempted to look over the desk at the computer screen. "Can you not check again?" The handsome boy pleaded, tears streaming down his soft cheeks, some of the salty droplets sitting against his plump lips.

"I've already checked six times, Sir, and there is nothing I can do. Your flight has already departed," the woman explained. "But we have a free seat on a flight in ten days time that I can book you on free of charge."

Luhan shook his head, some tears flying from his cheeks to splash against the counter. "But there's a flight to China due in 15 minutes, isn't there any way I can get on that?" he pleaded, letting his head drop down to rest against the desk, letting his tears roll down to accumulate in a small puddle.

"I'm sorry but that flight is fully booked."

Luhan raises himself up, sniffling as he wiped his nose with his sleeve and gripped the handle of his suitcase, slowly started to pace away from the desk, taking his time in hopes the woman would call him back with good news.

You had watched from the sidelines. You had recognised him immediately but hadn't done or said anything, instead you sat in your seat and forced yourself not to cry for him.

You pulled your little clear plastic bag from your carry on bag and pulled out your passport and boarding card. Looking at the neatly printed black bold letters you sighed and stood up. "My holiday can wait," you mumbled to yourself and walked across the landside to where Luhan was now slumped in a seat, his head in his hands.

You cleared your throat and angles your head to get a better view of his handsome features. "Erm, Lu... Luhan?" You mumbled nervously and gasped when he slowly raised his head to look at you with red swollen eyes.

"I take it you want an autograph?" He muttered half heartedly, and you couldn't help the stabbing sensation you got in your chest at the sight of your bias so broken.

You quickly shook your head and held out the flimsy card out to him. "Here," you offered and wiggled the pass a little. "Take my ticket, I know how much you miss your family."

Luhan looked at you in disbelief, his eyes wide with shock, his sorrowful tears being replaced with tears of joy. "Oh my gosh, are you... are you giving me your plane ticket?"

You grinned and nodded your head. Your jaw dropped open and your eyes widened when Luhan suddenly sprung up off the bench and enveloped you in a tight and very warm hug, the sweet scent of his aftershave washing over you and drowning your senses. "Thank you! Thank you! A thousand times thank you!" He yelled and placed you back on your feet after whirling you around, letting his face drop to nestle in your neck.

You giggled and tightened your arms around his shoulders a little more. "It's fine, don't worry about it."

Leaning away, with his arms still around you he grinned. "There must be a way I can repay you?"

You shook you head. "No, it's fine, Luhan."

"It isn't." Luhan paused and took a few seconds to ponder over his thoughts, his fingers tickling under his jaw as he concentrated. With a click of his fingers he beamed at you and reaches into his backpack and routed around until he pulled out a small notepad and pen. Quickly and elegantly sliding the pen nib across the paper he ripped it off and folded it nearly in half before handing it over to you.

"Take this," he ordered gently. "And when I get back in a week I promise I will pay you back." Reaching up to sweep a strand of hair behind your ear he bent down and pressed his lips lightly against your cheek. "Thank you..." He paused, waiting for your name and once you told him he grinned. "Thank you, ________, I look forward to seeing you again."
