This is based upon a true moment in my life last year. Although I didn't lose my boyfriend I did lose my best friend when he lost control on his motorcycle and crashed. And it was the depression that day caused that inspired me to start writing again, since it was him that believe I should.

"I'll see you in class on Monday," Luhan said to you sweetly as he pressed a quick kiss against your lips before slipping his red motorcycles helmet over his head and revved the throttle on his bike. "I love you, ______." After tucking a strand of flyaway hair behind you ear he drove off home, you continuing to wave after him even when he turned round a corner and could no longer see you.

"He's so perfect," you mumbled and a deep laugh filled you ear.

"It's sucks though," your best friend Ben complained and crossed his thin arms over his chest. "Why did he choose you and not me?"

"That's because Luhan isn't gay, Ben," you giggled and patted Ben on the back, him childishly sticking his tongue out at you.

I still believe I would be a better lover for him," Ben joked, nudging you in the ribs with his elbow.

It was the day after your visit to the mall with Luhan. A lovely sunny Sunday afternoon and you had gathered around the dining room table with your family to enjoy a deliciously home cooked Sunday roast chicken lunch with all the trimmings. Roasted potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, vegetables and your mothers signature chicken gravy.

"Tae, will you...!" You grumbled at your younger brother who was proceeding to flick garden peas across the table at your face.

"Taehyun, stop messing with your food," your father ordered and Tae instantly straighten up and dug into his chicken leg smothered in steaming gravy.

'Ring ring ring' the familiar tone of your Mobil rang out from within your jean pocket, seeing your mother shake her head disapprovingly in the corner of your eye when you fished it out and answered it.

"Sweetheart," your dad said gently. "you know the rules about phones at the dinner table."

"Ben, I can't speak right now," you said down the speaker to your best friend.

A strangled sniffle sounded from Ben's side of the line and you instantaneously focused on him, completely ignoring your parents wish to hang up. "Ben Ben," you soothed, your voice cracking slightly when you heard Ben's cried become stronger and uncontrollable. "Ben, what's wrong?"

"It... oh god I'm so sorry." You stood up from your seat, beginning to pace in front of the table, your parents worried eyes following your every step. "______," it's Luhan."

"What... What about him," you gasped, your breath almost seeming to strangle your words.

Ben sniffled again and blew his nose. "He... He fell from his bike on the way home last night, ______. He was airlifted to hospital."

You furrowed your eyebrows and chuckled down the phone. "Ben, I understand you like to play pranks but this is not funny!" Your tone was strong and cold.

"What?" Ben gasped in shock. "Why would I joke about this, ______?"

It suddenly hit you, like a dagger to the chest your heart shattered. "Is... Is he okay, have you spoken to him?"

"______, he... I just got off the phone with his mother."

"And?! hat did she say?!"

"His funeral is next Friday." The pain that surged through your chest was so unbearable you believed your heart wouldn't just flutter and skip a beat. It felt as if it would stop completely. "______, he didn't make it."
