You smiled lightly, a little twitch at the corner of your mouth as you placed a small, delicate flower made of strawberry flavoured icing on top of the beautifully arranged, three tier white icing chocolate wedding cake.

"Hmm," a deep voice hummed delightfully as he walked into the room. "It looks good enough to eat," he mumbled as his eyes glanced over your body, a simple white knee length dress hugging your slim figure, moulding over the small bump forming in the centre of your stomach.

Leaning back to look at your masterpiece you beamed brightly, liking the frosting from the tips of your fingers before caressing your six week old baby bump. "Oh, thank you, Sehun," you smiled, and nudged him lightly with your elbow as you gloated over how proud you were of your first ever successful wedding cake.

"I wasn't talking about the cake," Sehun purred, his eyes hungrily glancing over your perfectly sculpted backside.

"Oh, Sehun. You're one of Jongdae's best friends." You shook your head at Sehun as you dropped the dirty cake decorating utensils into the sink.

"Only makes it more fun," he smugly spoke, his hand reaching out to grip your bottom, you letting out a surprised squeak and swatting his hand away by smacking the back of his hand with a spoon.

"Sweetheart, are you ready?" Your mum cooed as she entered the kitchen wearing a beautiful pastel blue dress, white three inch heals and a white lace hat. Her eyes lay upon the cake and her smile grew wider. "It looks beautiful, dear." Her eyes then switched to look at you. "But not as beautiful as my lovely daughter."

She gripped your hands and squeezed them, a little excited squeak escaping her lips. "How is the little one?"

You placed your hand on your stomach and smiled when your baby gently kicked you. You looked round at the clock on the kitchen wall and started to panic a little when you saw it was only an hour to go until you were to be married. "Mum, could you lead all the guests over to the church." She nodded and left as you turned to Sehun. "Could you go and tell Jongdae we're ready?"

Sehun nodded and walked off, striding down the hallway, winking at your beautiful dressed best friend in her bridesmaid of honour gown. Once he reached the door at the end of the hallway, Sehun knocked against it and leant closer to it before shouting, "Hyung, It's Sehun, are you ready?"

Sehun opened the door, his eyes widening when he focused upon Jongdae. Sweat was pouring down his face, his chest was heaving and his blouse was clinging to his chest from the build up of perspiration on his skin. "Wow!" Sehun gasped, forcing fake grin onto his face. "You look.. Great!" He lied.

Jongdae let out an nervous giggle and smiled weakly, pain hidden behind his forced grin. "Are you ready?"

"Um... Just..." Jongdae held his hands up and showed the universally recognised "just a little" sign.

Sehun nodded, feeling rather helpless and awkward looking at the state his older friend was in. "I'll give you a minute to, uhh... Freshen up." Sehun slowly slipped out of the door and as soon as it shut Jongdae through his head back and yelled, slipping himself down off the end of the bed to lie on the floor, banging his head repeatedly against the wooden floorboards.

"You can do this. You can do this. You can fucking do this," he kept repeating to himself over and over again, hoping that the words would somehow sink in. After what felt like the thousandth head bang he sat straight up and gasped for air. "I can't do this."

Sehun knocked again, holding his ear to the door, waiting for a sound but got nothing. Opening the door he was greeted with an empty room, nothing but a piece of crumpled paper on the bed. Wind blew in from outside and wafted the curtains about. Sehun's eyes widening when he spotted Jongdae sprinting down the road. "Shit!"

You didn't know why people were yelling outside. Jogging out into the warm summer sun you looked around at your guests to see where they were looking. Following their gaze you gasped, tears brimming in their eyes as you spotted Jongdae's figure getting smaller and smaller in the distance. "Jongdae?" You whispered, tilting your head to the side, not quite sure if it was him.

He turned his head as he ran, his eyes full of fear and apology as they locked with yours. "Jongdae!" You screamed, your chest stinging from the heart ache building up inside.

"_______!" Turning round you saw Sehun, his handsome face fallen into a frown, his eyes filled with sympathy. He held his hand out and you looked down with teary eyes, spotting the crumpled piece of paper fallowing about in his fingers.

You took it from him, looking down at Jongdae's handwriting, your grip slacking around the flower stems of your bouquet, the beautiful lilac, white and pink flowers dropping to the concrete, some petals detaching and floating away with the wind.

Four words. Four simple words making up an unfinished sentence.

I love you but...
