"Oh, shit!" my best friend, (BFF/N), suddenly gasped as we walked down the street.
"What? What is it?" I asked, afraid.
"Behind us! That man is my brother's doctor! I had to take my brother for a check-up the other day!"
"What does that have to do with anything?" You angrily spat, upset that she had scared you.
"Well, he's cute and you need a date," she said. "Talk to him."
"No way. I'm not going to walk up to some stranger an say 'You're my friend's brother's doctor, let's go out'.No."
She "hmph"-ed at you, crossing her arms. "Fine, leave it to me." With that, she promptly fell right on the ground.
"Whoa!" You exclaimed, looking around to see if anyone was looking. Sure enough, the cute doctor was running your way. "What the Hell?!"
"Go with it," she whispered, pretending to pass out. You rolled my eyes, kneeling beside her to try and pick her up.
"What's going on?" cute doctor guy asked as he caught up to you both.
"Nothing, really," She said. "You're her brother's doctor and you're really cute, so she pretended to pass out so you'd come over here." you hit (BFF/N)'s arm. "Get up, dumbass."
"Ugh!" Unhappy, she stood, wiping dirt from her arms. "I chipped a nail for that, ungrateful little..." She trailed off as she walked away.
Again, you rolled your eyes, but a hand was shoved in your face. You followed the arm to see the cute doctor guy's face.
Smiling shyly, you took his arm, accepting his help in standing up.
"Thank you, and I'm so sorry about her."
He shook his head. "Don't worry about it. I'm glad no one was hurt." He rubbed his arm, almost shy. It was really cute. "Would you be interested in a date?"
"Yes," you responded without thinking about what was going on.
A beautiful, heart-shaped smile adorned his face. "Great!" He searched his pockets finding a pen. Knowing what he was doing, you stuck your arm out, letting him write his number on your hand.
"I'll call you later," you said, smiling.
"I'll count the minutes," he joked, making you laugh as you walked off.
Sighing, you looked at your hand.
