34. Welcome to the Family (Chen)

The sun was just starting to set over the horizon, the burnt orange glow lighting up the late evening sky like a fire. The waves crashed and rolled over the white sand, stroking the shore like a giant hand. A beautiful young woman stood beside a handsome man, her long ivy colour lacy gown flowing down and trailing behind her. The man was wearing a black suit with an ivy dress shirt to match her glorious dress, the biggest smile spread across his face.

The vicar, dressed in his neat clothing looked from the girl to the man a smiled. "Do you take Kim JongDae to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The vicor asked the woman.

She looked into the mans eyes, hers soft and full of love. "I do."

~~Rewind~~

Sat in a wide circle were 11 of the 12 devilishly handsome Exo members, them all chatting happily, their voices raised well above the normal volume. They were laughing about every simple thing that came into the conversation, managing to make even the most boring of topics seemingly hilarious.

"Guys," Luhan yelled as he walking into the studio to join the remaining Exo members. They didn't seem to have heard him so Luhan spoke again, this time in a much louder voice. "Guys!" Some of the members looked over to Luhan still talking loudly. "Will you shut up!"

Instead of going silent, the eleven men just quietened down to a loud whisper. "Why do I still hear talking?" Luhan complained and threw his arms up into the air, flailing them about above his head.

"Maybe because you have ears," one of Luhan's fellow group mate snidely commented.

Luhan scowled at him and folded his arms across his chest. "Chen! That is not funny."

"Sorry hyung, I couldn't resist." Chen smirked innocently at his elder friend. "What's up, buttercup?"

Luhan smiled a little before stepping to the side slightly, his hand gripping the door handle, ready to pull it open. "I want you all to meet my younger sister." Luhan pulled the door open to reveal you, stood on the other side nervously twiddling with your fingers, your long hair flowing down your back.

You stepped into the room and awkardly waved your hand. The thing that was weird though, wasn't the fact that it had taken Luhan over a year to finally introduce you, what was unusual was the fact possibly one of the noisiest members was silent, his mouth popped open, his eyes wide, gawking at how radiently beautiful you are.

Chen was the first to stand up and walk over to you, giving you a quick bow before grabbing your hand and placing a tender kiss on the back of it. "Hello beautiful, my name is JongDae, but you can call me oppa."

~Fast Forward~

"At first, I was skeptical," Luhan admitted as he looked down at Chen, who was sat in a plush chair, looking up at your big brother, his hand gripping yours on top of the beautifully decorated table. "I never really intended on letting my baby sister date any of my fellow Exo members, let alone marry one," Luhan joked which earned him a smile off Chen, and a scowl off you.

Luhan looked round at everybody. "About six years ago, I had first introduced ________ to the guys, and Chen came up to me a few days later to compliment me on having such a beautiful sister. At first it was a little odd and was confused, but then I found out a month later, Chen had asked her out." Luhan looked down at Chen and grinned.

"As you could guess, being her big protective brother, I was against the idea of him dating my little sister, but when I saw the smile he put on her face, and they way he made her light up, I couldn't deny the fact he made her happy." Tears started to well up in Luhan's eyes and he tried to blink them back. "Last year, he came up to me, and asked my permission if he could have her hand in marriage, and after seeing the way he cared for her and loved her for all those years, my answer was easy." Luhan placed a gentle hand on Chen's shoulder and smiled faintly.

"And today hasn't only been ________ happy day, but mine aswell, seeing my sister marry the man she loves makes me the happiest brother in the world." Luhan looked down at Chen, and Chen rested his head on top of yours, smiling up at Luhan. "And I couldn't have asked for a better brother in law. Chen," Luhan gave Chen's shoulder a little squeeze before opening his arms up, to which Chen happily stood up and gave Luhan a hug. "Welcome to the family, brother."
