Your fingers laced together, the gentle skin on shin contact sending slight tingles rushing up your arm and heating up your core, a small smile producing on your lips. Biting down on your bottom lip you stared down at your hand and a family of butterflies exploded deep within your stomach. When you saw his eyes focusing down on your face you looked away, averting your gaze to stare out over the side of Banpo bridge. Observing the rainbow of water jetting out to land in the river below, lighting up the surroundings with a peaceful aura.
"Babe?" His deep voice rung within your ears and sent your heart fluttering.
"Yes, honey," You spoke softly as you turned your head to lock your eyes with his, noticing a slight glimmer twinkling in the corner of his dark chocolate orbs.
"Are you happy?" Chanyeol bit down on his lip, holding back his nerves, his heart thumping violently against his rib cage.
"Of course I'm happy!" You gushed and let your lips pull back over to reveal your teeth in the huge grin of your Chanyeol loved ever so much.
You saw him relax ever so slightly and it was only now that you realised he had gripped your hand tighter. "Good," he breathed and pulled you to a stop. Tugging against your arm he let you crash against his chest before wrapping his arms around your waist securely, never wanting to let you go, just wanting to stay like this for a while, to feel the heat of your skin and the heavy thumping of your heart. "I've got something to ask you."
"Anything." You smiled sweetly at him.
Chanyeol took a deep breath and looked deep in your eyes with a nervous smile. "________, like you this is going to be short and sweet, I..." ChanYeol paused to take in a deep shaky breath, "We've been on several dates now, and I know I said I wanted to take things slow, but yesterday I was thinking, I have never felt this way about anybody before, and I now know I want to be able call you mine."
You tilted your head to the side and looked at Chanyeol with narrowed eyes. "Where are you going with this?"
Chanyeol chuckled cutely. "_____, what I'm trying to say is, I don't want to take it slow anymore, and I want you to be my girlfriend."
