Merry Laughter Skipping By

I woke up at 6 the next morning. I was very nervous and excited to be starting school. I wondered if I would meet that boy again. Back in Ireland I didn't really take much notice of the idiots called boys in my school. They did ridiculous things and tried to impress the girls, obviously failing. I came down from the attic and made breakfast. For the best nutrients I made simple porridge and packed a healthy lunch of fruit and a sandwich. At 6.30 Lee came into the kitchen.

I brushed my collarbone length dark blonde hair and put on the school uniform. I was ready. As ready as I'd ever be.

Myself and Lee walked to school. We were both as equally as scared as each other. We didn't talk the whole way there. When we reached school the headmaster showed us to our classes. Lee and I were in different classes because of our age. I was put into a class and given a timetable. I was starting my day in maths.

"Okay class we have a new student please say hello to Megan Michelle", my maths teacher, Ms Lynch said. I was put sitting beside a girl named Sharon. "Hi, Megan", she said. "Hi, Sharon", I replied. She just laughed. As we started class I found myself lost. Thankfully Sharon hadn't an idea what was going on either. Turns out Sharon was in all of my classes.

"So, Megan, seen any boys yet?" She asked, winking. "One, but I haven't seen him at all yet", I said. It was lunch time and I still hadn't seen him. "Oh, what does he look like?" Sharon asked, now excited. As I described the boy I saw yesterday, Sharon nodded. "That's Roger Meddows", she said. "That's his surname?" I asked. "I think it's his middle name. His surname is Taylor but evergone calls him Roger Meddows. I don't really know why", she said, laughing. "By the way, he's in our English, French, Geography and History class!" She told me. "What else do you know about him?" I asked. "Well he can play drums", she said.
