Let Me Live

The boys were practicing when I walked in. I didn't want to stop them so I waited for the song to finish. I took this time to realize how great of a drummer Roger really was. He was really going for it, he had a talent and a passion. It was mesmerizing. The song finally ended and Roger came out of the booth. "Brian," he said. "You're needed in there for the guitar parts, Freddie added a new thing." He looked at me. "Megan, wow you look really good in that uniform." He said pulling me into a kiss. "That song sounded great! What's it called?" I asked. "Keep Yourself Alive." He said. I smiled. "Hey Roger, can we talk in private for a minute?" I said. "Sure love what's up?" He said as we left the room. Brian was giving me the thumbs up from the booth.

**Brian's POV**
"Where's Roger going?" Freddie asked. "We need him!" "Freddie," I said. "Megan wants to tell him soemthing about the......" I stopped in mid sentence in case Megan didn't want me to tell. "About the what?" Asked Freddie. "Nothing." I said putting the headphones on ready to record. Freddie took them off my head. "About the what, Brian?" He said. I looked over at John for help but he just nodded, implying I should tell Freddie. "About the baby." I said. "Is it okay?" Said Freddie. "Yeah it's fine." "Alright." He said. That was close. I nearly told him. What an idiot....

**Megans POV**
"Okay Rog." I said. "This is pretty big news... I found out something about the baby." I said. "Baby?" He asked. "Is it okay?" "Yeah it's good, only...." I said, unable to finish the sentence. "Only...?" Roger asked, now concerned. "Well, now there's.....there's kind of... well...." "Megan! Spit it out!" I held up two fingers. "What does that mean?" He asked. "There's two babies...." I whispered. "We're having twins."

**Rogers POV**
"We're having twins." WHAT?! "Twins?" I asked. Megan nodded silently. "Well, what do you think?" "Well I, I'm,......, I don't..... I don't know what to think...." I said. " You're not happy?" She asked, looking dissapointed. "No I am! Honestly. Only it's two babies now. Can we handle it?" I said. "I mean one was a shock and now two?" "I can't do anything about it Roger." Megan said. "I know you can't, I'm sorry I'm just a bit shocked." I said. "Hey, why don't we buy some things for them tomorrow?" I said, trying to cheer Megan up. "Yeah, okay." She said. She didn't sound very convinced. As we walked back to the recording booth, I felt weak. Twins? Two babies? How were we going to cope? How was Megan going to cope with two babies growing inside of her? Imagine double the stress, double the crying, double the cost, double everything for the rest of their lives. All of this got on top of me. My knees grew weak, unable to support my body anymore. I suddenly collapsed to the ground as I heard Megan screaming my name.

**Freddies POV**
Roger had collapsed. Even though he was outside the booth I still heard it from inside the booth. We all did. We all ran out to the hall where Megan was slapping him lightly on the face. His eyes were fluttering open. She gave him a hug as he was lying down, completely confused. I was suddenly very jealous as I saw the whole thing. Yeah I loved Mary but Roger and Megan were special, they were married and expecting. All I was doing was bringing Mary out on cheap dates and calling her occasionally. I knew I needed to do something about it. I wanted to settle down too and there was no one I wanted to settle down more with than Mary.

**Brians POV**
Megan helped Roger off the floor onto a chair. His weight made her buckle so I ran over to help. Rogers eyes were opening and then closing, he was still partially unconscious. Megan was distraught and I didn't know what to do. Rogers eyes suddenly opened and stayed open. "Roger!" Megan said. "Are you okay?" She asked. Roger nodded. He looked at her bump and kissed it. "Hey, babies, I'm sorry for that, just got a shock, hope you don't mind." He said, talking directly to her stomach. "Aww!" Said Freddie. "That's adorabl- wait! Did you say babies!?" Said Freddie. Megan nodded happily. "Oh my God!" Said Freddie. "How many?" "Two." "Two?! Oh my God, I'm so excited now!" Said Freddie as everyone laughed. Everyone except me. My time with Megan today was interesting. I didn't know whether it was her treating me in hospital, or maybe because I was the first one she told about the twins but it felt like, if it was possible......that I was maybe, just maybe, catching feelings for Megan.....
