"Hey, are you still in there," the all to familiar voice of Risto asks from on the other side of the wooden door.
"Yes," I reply.
The door slowly opens. The sun light blinds me as the rays from the sun flood into the hole. Fresh air overwhelms me and I almost feel free again. Risto stands on the other side of the door. I have come to admire his courageousness to aid me in this whole fiasco. Again, I have never been so happy to see his face. Anyone's face would make me happy, as long as they are not Aaron.
Risto digs in his deep pocket and pulls out a sandwich, "I am sorry that I couldn't bring more. This will have to do," he mutters.
"It is okay. Beggars can't be choosers," I groan, as he starts to feed me the sandwich.
I take a bite of the sandwich. I am so famished that I feel like I can almost ingest the whole thing without even blinking. I don't think that Aaron ever planned on feeding me or giving me anything to drink. If it was not for Risto I would probably be dead by now.
"I am going to have to cut this whole thing short. Torsti is at Aaron's window keeping tabs on him to make sure that we are not caught. Aaron came back shortly after I got you back in the hole last night. For awhile I wondered if he was ever going to go to sleep again," Risto tells me.
"You don't have to do this Risto. I know how dangerous it is if you get caught. I will be fine," I explain to him.
A smile appears on Risto's face, "I like it, how you think that you would still be living if it was not for me. What would you do? Eat off of your roommate here and drink her dried up blood," he questions, "Plus, where else would I work on my people feeding skills," Risto laughs.
"I am pretty sure that your girlfriend would let you feed her," I reply, taking in another bite.
"Tonight you are getting out. Bam is very pissed off that Ville was stabbed and will be coming tonight with Missy to put an end to things once and for all. Ville is fine. The doctors want to keep him for a few days to make sure that he remains fine," Risto assures me.
"The house has a bomb by the front door," I warn.
"We are all aware of it. As soon as Bam and Missy charge the door I will be getting you out of the hole. Torsti will be calling the police talking about how a man is trying to break into his house and lead them here. He will be waiting at the front of the house for the police to come so he can show them the best way inside the house. Everything will be ending tonight. Ville is aware of the plan and thinks that it will work," Risto explains.
"If I don't make it. Tell Ville that I love him and will always love him," I ask Risto.
"Don't worry everyone including Aaron is going to make it through this. Unless Aaron tries to take himself out. Then none of us have control over that," Risto assures me, "If he comes out to see you after he wakes up, play it cool like nothing is going on. Keep doing what he would expect you to do. Torsti and I are watching over you. At this point I think that we all agree that it is a little ridiculous that we keep playing this game. It is time for some action. But don't worry, nobody will get hurt unless they do something stupid, " Risto adds.
I laugh at the whole thing. My heart is pounding away in my chest at the thought that I will finally be getting out of the whole thing tonight. My own personal hell will soon be over with, "So then I should act like I usually do... really unbearable. I am sure that's something that is easy for me to pull off, but not something that Aaron likes at all."
"Well it's almost over. Then you will never have to worry about him again," Risto promises.
I take the last bite off of the sandwich, "I hope that you are right. I would love to finally be rid of Aaron and focus on just Ville and I."
