Chapter 55

After Risto is released from the hospital we all decide to part ways. Ville still has to teach my father the ins and outs of running a successful porn shop. Jamie I know would love to spend time with Jesse, but I know that she would feel like she is somehow betraying me if she does. Val and Torsti have to get back to business with the band's costumes for their next tour. 

Torsti was saying that this tour will be bigger than any of their previous tours and he is thrilled to kick it off soon. I just hope that Risto can stay safe till then so he is able to go on the tour with the band. Heaven forbid something happen and they have to look for another guitarist on such short notice, or worse and call off the tour. 

I give Risto a final hug before leaving. I stare over his shoulder and see that Kat does not approve of this at all. I wish that I could have met her before this. Maybe if that happened then she wouldn't hate me as much as she does now. 

Risto's arms wrap tightly around me with no regards as to what his other half thinks. I can almost smell the asphalt on his skin as he embraces me. I am so glad that nothing worse has happened to him. 

"Risto, you have plenty of time later to catch up with this...girl," Kat exclaims under gritted teeth.
If I was not pregnant I would want to knock the fuck out of this girl to treat such a wonderful man like Risto as a possession. From what I hear, Risto and Kat have been together for a long time. I guess he likes her so much that he overlooks her cold attitude.

Risto releases me from his arms to join Kat in the car and going home. Ville walks up to me and wraps his arms around me, knowing that this is all hard for me to take. 

"I will try to be home as soon as I can tonight. I would like for you and Jamie to hang out a together till I get home. I know that she will make sure that you are okay with everything," Ville tells me. 

I nod my head and he bends down to give me a feather light kiss on my cheek. I turn around and see Jamie there waiting for me. I walk up to her and she leads me to the car. 

"Luc, that woman doesn't like you. You think that she might think that you are trying to take her man away," Jamie giggles. 

I crack a smile for Jamie, knowing that she is trying her best to put me in a good mood and take my mind off of what happened to Risto. That is something that I love about my sister. The fact that she will do everything in her power to make me happy. She has always been like that since we were little girls. 

We all load into the car and Jesse takes Jamie and I back to the tower. 

When we get out of the car Jesse rushes out to unlock the door for us. It almost feels like Jamie and I don't have to lift a finger while Jesse's around. Once the door opens Jamie and I walk in and Jesse follows. I'm not use to him acting this way and begin to wonder if Ville might have told him something without me knowing. 

I walk back to the kitchen to get the carton of ice cream that I was forced to put away. I grab a spoon and make my way back to the front room and see that Jamie and Jesse are already sitting down, watching TV. Everything is still in a language that Jamie and I don't understand. Ville still has not got over that yet. 

I take a seat on the couch and watch Jamie and Jesse play it cool, but still look at each other with bedroom eyes. The longer that I look at them the more I feel like the third wheel. 

Jesse looks at me for a second, almost like he's trying to figure something out, "Are you okay," he asks.

"Yes," I answer, "Why wouldn't I be?"

Jesse shrugs his shoulders slightly, "I don't know, just that I know that you and Risto have become very close and all. I thought that with him being in the condition that he was in and the fact that Kat didn't make anything easier on you might have thrown some stress on you."
