Chapter 16 - Untold Secrets

Gulat na gulat ako kung sino mang hinayupak ang humablot saakin papasok sa sasakyan. But the unfamiliar man telling me that he brings no harm.

"Are you freaking kidnapping me?" I asked him while he still looking outside of the window where James and his bitch was doing monkey business in the middle of broad daylight.

But he didn't even bother to answer my question. Did he just ignored me?

Napapatitig ako sa mukha ng isang estrangherong ito. He got chiseled features like young bachelor in the middle of New York city. His adam's apple was moving because of his heavy breathing. His eyelashes was super long and curled that I envy the most.

The silence was broken when he faced me and realized how awkward our position.

"I'm sorry...I didn't intend you to get in my car...I just-" he couldn't find a word to explained his weird intentions.

"Are you even aware that I tortured you at back of my mind?" I asked him with a serious toned. But to my surprised, he laughed so freaking hard.

"I'm-I'm sorry."He said trying to get his shit together. Hindi ko alam kung abnoy ba to or may sayad lang talaga sya sa utak.

"Care to explain your shit?" Sabi ko sa kanya na nagpatahimik sa kanya. I was already annoyed and hungry for pate's sake. I came for food pero tanginang James. Nakuha pang mambabae.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I'm Ian, by the way." He said reaching for my hands. Pero inirapan ko siya.

"I know, I have no excuse para sapilitan kitang ipasok sa sasakyan. I left with no choice. I don't want her to see you." Sa last statement ay nakuha ang attention. I know who's "her" pertaining to but I'm not sure enough to concluded.

But my eyes landed outside and saw James trying the girl get in the car. I knew her.

"Oh that bitch" I said when car was moving and headed to the exit.

"You know her?" Ian asked with disbelief.

"You also know her?" I fired back his question.

"Well...kind of?" He said with hesitation. Hmm. I smell something fishy. But well, of course I knew that ugly bitch friend of mine.

"Oh come on! You can't fool me, dude" I said.

"uhm she's my girlfriend" He said and I saw pain in his eyes.

"That's sucks!" Tangina talaga ni Scarlet. Hindi na nag bago. Mangagamit parin.

"I know." He said and he rested his head on the seat.

"Bakit mo ko kinaladkad dito?" I asked him. Naman diba? Who cares about his cheater girlfriend.

"Because I know you are in relationship with the guy she's with." He said as if we feel the same way of pain. But sorry to tell you, dude. We're not in the same page.

"Oh really? Well. Wala naman talaga akong pake sa unggoy na yun! Duh! I don't even give a fuck to his life." I said, but he didn't even reacted to my words. Tumahimik siya bigla na nakapag irita saakin.

"What?!" I said out of frustration because he zipped his mouth.

"I just really thought you are in love with him." He said. And I burst laughing. That was the funny joke I've ever heard in my entire life.

"Why are you laughing?" He asked.

"Dude! You're so funny!" I said trying to get my shit together.

"I'm sorry" Nang mahimasmasan ako sa katatawa. He sighed. At bumalik siya sa driver seat at pina andar ang sasakyan.

"Where you want to go? I can drop you there" He offered. I rolled my eyes because James just fucking left me for his sidechick.

"You can just drop in nearby resto" I said. At pinaharurot niya ang sasakyan.

"Where you came from? Your accent sounds austrilian" I asked him in the middle of silence.

"I grew up in North Carolina but I studied in Austrilia in highschool. And continue my college in New York. But I'm full born Filipino." He said. Wow! That was amazing background dude.

"Well it is pretty impressive." I compliment him. Wow naman nakakausap na ako ng matino.

"How about you? Tell me about your life." He asked while he focused driving.

"Sorry I don't talk to stranger." I jokely said. Bumaling naman siya sa gawi at tumawa.

"Well! I'm impressed!" He said at tumawa siya. Sira yata tong lalaking to! Baliw!

Biglang tumunog ang cellphone ko at nang makita ko na si James ang tumatawag ay agad ko itong sinagot.

"Where are you?" He asked.

"In hell, asshole!" I said. Uminit na naman ang ulo ko. Ano? Tapos na siya sa babae niya?

"Inday, look I'm sorry! Something came u-" I cut his sentence.

"Something or someone? Oh please don't give me your crappy bullshit! Enjoy your fucking food with your bitch" At binabaan ko siya. Pinatay ko ang cellphone ko para hindi na niya ako ma contact.

Napatingin ako kay Ian.

"Sorry not sorry" I said.

"You're scary!" He said that made me laughed.

Nang makarating na kami sa resto ay agad akonh bumaba.

"Thanks for the ride." I said.

"I'm sorry I couldn't accompany you." He said.

"No it's okay!" I said.

Umalis na siya at pumasok na ako sa resto. And to my surprise Aldrich is here. Sipping to his drinks while typing something on his laptop with some food on his table.

Lumapit ako sa kanya.

"Do you mind if I join you?" I asked while smiling. He looked surprised.

"Inday!" He just shouted my gooddamn nickname. Napatingin tuloy ang ibang tao saamin.
