Katniss POV- (That morning)
"Momma?" I hear Willow knocking repeatedly on our bedroom door.
I sigh, looking over at Peeta who is sound asleep.
She keeps knocking, getting louder and louder.
I glance at the clock and see it's 7am.
"Mommy? Daddy? Someone please answer this door already." She whispers impatiently.
I groan and get up, opening the bedroom door, before she wakes Peeta too.
"What's wrong, baby?" I ask her.
Willow's eyes find Peeta and then she looks at me.
"Nothing. Me and Mason are awake and we want you and Daddy to come be with us." She whispers innocently.
I glance back at Peeta and decide I'm not going to wake him up quite yet-I kept him up an awful long time last night.
I grab a small throw blanket off the edge of the bed and wrap it around my body, closing the bedroom door behind me as I follow Willow down the stairs.
"Morning." I say when I get to the last step, Mason is sitting on the couch, staring out the front window.
He looks up like he's coming out of a daze, "Hey, good morning."
I yawn, "I'm sorry if Willow woke you up. You know you can go back to sleep if you want to. There won't be any judgement here if you do." I laugh a little.
Mason chuckles, "No, I am fine. And she didn't wake me. I was awake and heard someone else up so I decided to see if it was you or Peeta but it was her. We've had some interesting conversations so far." He says.
I sit down and Willow sits in my lap.
"Oh, goodness. Like what?" I ask him with a scared laugh.
Honestly there's no telling what Willow has said.
"A lot of things really."
"Like?"
"She told me about her boyfriend." Mason starts.
Willow gasps offendedly, "I told you him is not my boyfriend, Mason."
He laughs, "Anyways, you said you kissed him so he probably is your boyfriend."
"Nuh-uh." Willow snaps, crossing her arms.
He chuckles, "And she told me about your Bristol's kids and how Bristol is her teacher."
"Oh." I say awkwardly.
Mason laughs, "Yeah..."
"How has she been doing since she got released?"
"Really good, actually. She's suppose to come over today to see Peeta and for the girls to see him too." I mention.
"Really?" He asks.
"Yes, um, do you remember our conversation?"
"I do and I've thought about it too."
"Seriously?" I ask him excitedly.
Mason laughs, "Yes, today would be perfect to see if maybe. I mean I'm like her hero, she would have to you know..." He jokes.
"Then maybe you should try it..." I say.
"What my mother is trying to say is you should get married to Bristle." Willow blurts out to him.
Mason chuckles, "Oh, hey, pre-plan our wedding while you're at it." He teases us.
